Deck Description

Standard, Azorius control-devotion...

How to Play

I don't know, if you've seen decks like this, but the devotion is working out perfectly here & even when it doesn't, Heliod is still an Indestructible cresture, that survives wipes(mine as well) & is able of generating creatures any time...

Not much I'd share about how to play this - may be later, when I have the patience to write this - but the only thing that is worth mentioning, is that the Spear is a way better sideboard than most might think... ...it is a constant removal, as well as it really kicks the Devotion for Heliod... ...it is also awesome with Angel of Serenity, since Serenity's weakness is Desecration Demon & with that additional +1 +1, the Angel won't die from it, but rather kills the Demon off.......

The only other thing I should state is that I play Render Silent, because aggro &/or Devotion decks often cast multiple spells within a turn...

Enjoy!.. ...suggestions are wellcome!..

Deck discussion for Supreme Serenity

Wow! This is exactly the deck I want to build! I have been playing green/black against this deck and I get faced every time. Would you mind looking at my deck that wants to be like this one and giving me a few pointers?

Thanks and again, nice deck!

Thanks for your comment! :)

I got inspiration from Chris VanMeter's deck that is very different than this one, but still the same type of deck...

What about Nykthos for the devotion? It'd be great for Sphinx Revelation, Syncopate, and/or Heliod.

Thought about it, but the devotion is not that strong in this deck, it usually moves between 3 & 6... ...I only get Heliod to be a creature constantly in about 87% of my matches... ...Nykthos won't do too much here.......

Thanks for your comment!.. ...I just might add 1 Nykthos, it won't hurt I guess :)
