Praetor's Counsel

by raggedjoe on 17 February 2011

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Reading this card makes you drop your jaw, not to mention being reminiscent of a certain completely epic card that is so powerful VINTAGE players build entire decks around it....

After much much work, I have finally designed a deck that puts this card to good use. Enjoy!

Hmmm, that is pretty interesting. No, that is not me, and no I did not rip my list off of that (I never knew about that article before you posted). There are certain differences between our lists, though the concept is the game. You will notice my mana base is noticeably stronger than his is, and that my win-cons are different. I also run a different tutor and some other card are different too.

Ravenous Trap >_>

All jokes aside this is another absurd deck. It took me a while to get "it", but once it clicked I had an "Oh...Wow..." moment. =]

Hahaha ik right? That's what most of my friends have said. By the way, I've really gotten into combo decks, and I'll be posting some soon. Is there any specific combo you would like to see?

This, this right here is the kind of crap that has made me decide I'm getting Leyline of the Void.

This is awesome, but I seriously hope you never see somebody drop crypt and relic on you.

Yeah, that would kind of suck. Fortunately, with the ramp I can go off consistently by turn 3-5, and post sb I can simply hold my cards until I set them all off at once. I'll add an anti-hate sb though.

Same question that I put to surewhynot btw.

I'm not big on much combo, but I do love me some Dream Halls/Conflux myself. It's not as good as storm, but it's fun.

I played against a deck that used Natural Order, Dramatic Entrance, Lure of Prey, and Summoning Trap to play Progenitus turn 1 or 2 very consistently. See if you can make something like that.
