Deck discussion for Modern BUG Mill

Since there were two very different designs winning, I think the cards they shared in common should be a hint towards what actually works for mill...

Here's what the two winning designs got in common:
4 hedron crabs
4 archive trap
4 visions of beyond
4 glimpse the unthinkable
3 cards giving slight card advantage (either snapcaster mage or augur of bolas)
2 cards discarding important stuff (either thoughtseize or surgical extraction)

I dislike the visions and would go after either thoughtscour or preordain instead of it... Perhaps preordains the best choice.

Preordain is not legal in modern though

Yeah, found out myself at the tournament scene. Going with serum visions now.

Your deck looks pretty advanced now, with clasical moderncards and stuff.
How's it holding out now?

Well, it's me again.

If you haven't noticed it, tron-decks have come up with a move against mill. They play 2-3 different eldrazi, mainly emrakul and ulamog.
A countermove is to load up with 4 ghostquarters, kill a urza-land and extirpate it, cripling the developement of the deck drastically, buying time enough to get rid of all three types of eldrazi.

Other decktypes have embraced leyline of sanctity, and since if you cannot target them, 90% of your mill will be useless (Except stuff like mesmeric orb!) Countermove might be wipe away, or echoing truth.
