I do agree on some of the points you have stated. Although we can, and should, all agree that millions of people play this lovely game called Magic. It is bound to happen eventually that many gamers indeed make a little that is very similar, if not the exact same, type of list. Now when it comes down to how deserves the credit, it is pretty hard to tell who was first with the concept. Basically, if you think you came up with this idea and built it, then you better pilot this list at a PTQ or IQ, etc. quickly so you can claim credit for the list. Which I will admit sucks because many of us build solid ideas, but are not able to make it to these large events. From financial struggles to distance. If you go to my page, you will see a deck called the exact same thing. Abzan Midrange. Built this off an idea I had when KTK was being spoiled along with the fact that I love the Junk archetype. Mine has a little twist I would hope.

Just posted my list. I actually retract my statement towards the creature number. Haha. I have 18 in my list so its not too different.

Nice reanimator! I have one very similar, but I would run more Rescue from the Underworlds and drop one Commune with the Gods because you don't want to pull those cards too much to cycle through your deck and possibly end up losing your Grisly Salvage's or Rescue from the Underworlds. Three whips are fantastic! I only have two, but I'm trading for another one soon. Hero's Downfall is wonderful for this deck to keep players honest so I would add 1 or 2 more with an addition to Doom Blade's or Ultimate Price. The amount of creatures is a little steep I think when it comes to reanimate. You really want your spells to do the work so the more spells for this to reanimate, the better. I run anywhere from 13 to 16 creatures would be good. I would probably take out Sire of Insanity, Lord of the Void, and 2 Giant Adephage's, but I would run 2 more Angel of Serenity's, add some Lifebane Zombie's, Desecration Demon, Sin Collector, and most importantly.... Get ready..... Gray Merchant of Ashphodel! Yes, this card with lots of black mana symbols is a total destruction to players life totals. Such good Life gain/drain mid game or late game. I know this will still keep your creatures around the total you have now so you can make the decision, but this all is just an opinion anyways. Just to help. I'm posting mine up in a few minutes if you want to take a look. Good luck!

Yes, those are good points and I will certainly make some adjustments for sure. I only have the Kazandu refuge lands in there because those are the only other dual lands I have. I am going to get standard dual lands soon, but they are rather pricy. Those creatures are huge drops, but I like using Gruul ragebeasts' ability. I like forcing my opponent to block my creatures. Ruric thar I thought was good for his damage ability even though it deals damage to myself as well. I'll make some adjustments. Other than those helpful comments, what do you think of the deck?

Martial Law would be awesome for this deck since its detain. It's not too expensive price wise and CMC. You will for sure have four mana out and plenty of control to work with it anyways.

Not bad at all. I have an Exalted deck as well if you'd like to check it out. The sublime archangels really kill it in this deck when you get them out. I don't really have that many lands either since your creatures aren't that expensive. 22 lands would be good. Also I'd suggest some more removal spells to really get through to your opponent. Like oblivion rings or ultimate price. Those are good low cost cards.

So would you have to play that sorcery after your combat phase for it to be very effective?

This deck is extremely awesome and I'd like to build something like it. Corpsejack Menace is just what I was going to say to assist your one hydra to get double the amount of counters. I know it's bring another color in though which will put a twist on things possibly, but it's only one swamp.

This is an awesome deck. There is a Myr that gives you two colorless mana when you tap it I just can't remember what the name of the creature was called. I think it will be good in this deck for those higher cost cards. Hopefully you will pull a few and be able to pay for those six drops and that seven drop a lot faster than just waiting for 6-7 lands.

Yeah, I have murders and ultimate price's in here. I'm trying to keep it standard so I'll go with victim of night. Haha

Yeah, they are quite expensive. I've researched them and try to find a decent price. The best I could do is buy them for 7.99 a piece. Not too bad.

Yeah, I really could take it out. I just use it to get a quick draw and possibly get stuff out even faster. It seems to work. What should I replace them with? And thanks! I thought it was a good concept.

This one actually was a first attempt with exalted. It was looking for some creature buffing with control and it worked alright for a little while, but the real deck is Human/Vamps Exalted. Take a look at that if you'd like.
