Deck Description

I wanted to make an illusion deck :)

I think all the cards will work with each other nicely

Should be quick and aggressive

Deck discussion for Deadly Illusions

What's the purpose of archive trap? You have no other mill, and only have's phantasm benfits from it so you shouldn't run it.
You should run phantsmal image insteadits just better. You could also cut 2 lands given that drops your curve to a Max of 3 and then you could run 2 mana leak

I just thought that late game it could be good to have a 5/5 flyer on my side, But your right Phantasmal Image would make more sense. Thanks for the input guys :)

Lol that's good and all but with no ramp you'll hit 7 mana around turn 10-15 normally
Palinchron is a combo piece for infinite mana normally

I'm starting to love tribal decks :-) I think Mizzium Skin might be able to take the spot of Unsummon.

They do entirely different things
Unsummon is removal in a a fairly quick deck (even if they recast it, you've gotten more damage through)
Mizzium skin is a generally awkward card in practice as targeting a illusion with it kills it. Therefore you must always overload.

The only mill that's worth anything in this deck would be thoughtscour because it replaces itself and is instant but it's still not a great option.

You're absolutely right :-) In fact, I think Unsummon is a far underestimated card that deserves more credit than Mizzium Skin. However, the reason Unsummon is in this deck is because he needs a way to pull back his Illusions if they get targeted. Except, he doesn't like to sacrifice them. So even though Unsummon is a great card, he needs something to protect his creatures. Plus Unsummon will come out soon, Mizzium Skin will be the replacement. Plus, not all his creatures will get destroyed by being targeted. At least that's what I think. I've been known to be wrong. Oh, and the Overload is pretty cheap, it wouldn't be to bad. Basically, don't think of it as anything besides it's Overload. However, if he needed to play it on something like Krovikan Mist, he now has the option to use the one mana ability.
