Muddle the mixture allows you to tutor for guildmage or mindcrank.I feel the non-combo half of your deck is just terrible and you should probably focus on the duskmage combo.

True, this deck was just an experiment. Me and a friend were comparing different combinations, we actually just started about 45-50 minutes ago.
Yeah just with combos its better to either focus on more ways to find/protect your combo than just loading your deck with another combo.Half the time you will just draw 1 half of one combo and the other half of your other combo.
