This deck is my homage to Andre Mueller's 2007 Pro Tour-Valencia deck, with this deck he managed to make it to the finals but would eventually lose.
Solitary Confinement + Humility + Honden of Seeing Wind + Dovescape + Form of the Dragon = win, for the most part. This deck is not the greatest thing since sliced bread and is fragile to enchantment hate, among other things. I have really wanted to use Enduring Ideal in an EDH deck for a long time and I wanted to do it right, I think I have done a good job but if any critics want to chime in and let me know what I have done wrong, I can take it.

Back to Basics might help to control the early game and Caustic Tar will accelerate your opponent's deaths.I would also recommend Child of Alara as the general instead of that silly hydra.

really it doesn't matter which of the two I use, if humility is out then they are 1/1. also if I have certain enchantments out and play child then the difficulty level of winning for me increases by a lot.
What about the two enchantments I listed. I think they'd help. Also, Arcane Laboratoryt with your epic spell would work well.
silly hydra my ass ... got it from the box of masters I bought recently. Also unfortunately for us one of our local not albany playgroup people has managed to pull two goyf s. I am kinda digging the back to basics but that means I will have to rework my lands. I still need a little bit of time to think about the tar.

Yeah his new deck is really good ... he found a combo all on his own, isn't that nice. He is in love with green black and white, but you already knew that. We also played bad magic in one of the games, the green primortial hit the field and I had a humility out but we all destroyed stuffs (including my humility), we did not notice until a few turns later that humility should have stopped all the bs.
Also I am using a rule of law unless you think I need to run the lab as well but I think one is enough.

Well I am kinda hoping you will want to focus on Craig a little bit more than others when you get back, just because he is normally your punching bag. I just found out he bought a box of masters - one pack, that Franklin picked up just before he got there, hehehe. And I am sure Franklin is kinda mad because he was about to get a box so that he could draft, but I am sure he was wondering who would get in on it with him so that kinda made him think twice about getting it.
Why not counter spell instead of cancel? Also, maybe add a peacekeeper to buy you some time to find / cast Enduring Ideal. i really like the deck though. Plus with Theros coming out, you could Enduring Ideal for the God's (if you had to). Humility + Powerstone Minefield = Funny!
I did have at least a playset of counterspell but after the house fire at the end of I wanna say 2007, I decided to sell about 5000 commons and uncommons to the local card shop that survived the smoke and water damage (they were in really good condition which surprised the heck out of me due to the damage after the fire and the firefighters spraying water all over creation but thank God they were there and saved what they could). I kinda wished I had gone through them a little bit better and pulled some more cards out for me to keep but my collection was way too big so it was a good thing. I will take a look at peacekeeper later on to see what it does. I was also considering humility plus caltrops. That would be pretty sweet to ideal for a god. Thanks for the like.
