Trading post-based control deck in nontraditional colors for control.Trading Post provides significant card advantage power, especially with Codex Shredder to bring back anything you want on demand. This mostly counteracts the downside of having mostly 1-for-1 removal. Our answers to threats can be recurred almost indefinitely (barring exile effects) and our threats can be brought back to try again if countered or destroyed.
1. Remove everything your opponent puts on the board.2. Bring your removal back with Codex Shredder.3. Bring Codex Shredder back with Trading Post.4. Win.Some specific card notes on choices that might not be clear:Encroaching Wastes is great for knocking out Nykthos against devotion decks, Mutavaults, Maze's End, and depriving Esper of blue sources so they can't safely cast Aetherling. The colorless mana doesn't hurt so much between all the artifacts in the deck and the Prophetic Prisms able to turn it colored.I feel Slaughter Games is an underrated card against control, especially in this deck where you can bring it back from the graveyard and recast it to rip their deck to pieces. Removing Esper's counterspells or Revelations or one of their very few wincons pretty much guarantees you a win.
