Deck Description

An updated version of the Commander 2013 Naya Deck 'Nature of the Beast' with Marath, Will of the Wild as the primary commander. There is a larger focus on creature token creation and +1/+1 counter multiplication and of course the mana fixings and artifact mana machine staples. Land destruction is optional, but can be easily implemented.

How to Play

This deck revolves around Playing Marath early and then utilizing him as a spell instead of more of a creature, whether it be popping him for 3 early tokens, or blowing up creatures. The deck and sideboard has been tailored slightly to combating the 4 other premade decks. Any suggestions will be welcome with an open mind.

Deck discussion for Nature of the Beast Update

Voice of resurgence? The grixis and bant do a lot on your turn. Sylvan library to get the cards you need quicker. Mistcutter hydra could be pretty awesome. Too bad you cant put in give//take. If you are liking tokens, trostani is awesome. Get life equal to the toughness of every creature that enters your field and populate every turn. Giant adephage is a must in any tokenish edh deck. His little brother spawnwrithe is pretty legit. I really like thromok in here what with all the tokens. Anger could make all your fatties threats as soon as they hit the field. Beyond that though, I really like this deck. The naya commander deck was pretty strong to begin with. Its main problem was that it was splitting its focus between beast tribal, tokens, fatties, and somewhat burn. Though the burn was more utility burn. I would have bought four of them if it had lightning helix. That's my favorite burn spell. I was still tempted to do just that because of avenger of zendikar.
