Deck Description

When I was playing with my red, white, and blue deck, my friend who I versed, used a red blue deck. Whenever I would play really good cards, he would always counter them. So, I asked him what cards are good for a burn deck. He told me cards like, dissolve, cancel, and dissipate were the counters that can destroy your opponents cards. So, I decided to create a red blue deck, using my friends advice.

How to Play

You should save the big creatures, like stormtide leviathan and siege dragon. You first get rid of your opponents hard hitters, using your counter spells, like dissolve. This would then make your opponent defenseless. Then you play those big creatures, including jace, memory adept, and defeat your opponent. Or vice versa, where if you get only your strong cards, you play them first, and then when your opponent starts to play his good cards, you play your counter spells. You can also attack your opponent with your creatures before you play your counter spells, if you control archetype of imagination, since it gives all of your creatures flying.

Deck discussion for Heat of the Water

Staff of the mind magus isn't very good in this deck. If your losing life, then your deck has already failed. Anger of the gods might be a better card, that way you can let through a few smaller creatures and then anger them off the board meaning you retain more counter for their other spells.

That makes sense. I will change that. Thanks!

if you run something like this you might consider dropping a few high mana cards for more doom engines then add shrapnel blast. jace doesn't look very good in here. lightning bolt should be your best friend in this deck and young pyromancer can give you a more early game threat or delver of secrets or both.
if you have a chance let me know what you think of this
