This deck is beautiful. It's the first I've ever seen of its kind, and I really like it. It works in multiplayer, it's quick, and best of all, fun.
I'm not impressed by too many decks, typically not even my own, and I'm impressed. awesome and I'm still feeling the astonishment at this point (I've been thinking about the deck for 30 min now). I want to play with it really bad.

this deck is interesting, but it works in too many mechanisms into it. To make it more efficient, you should just stick with one or two things: discard damage, but not draw damage, creature destruction vs discard, life syphoning vs damage from creatures, etc. choose less and improve the ones you decide on.

If you decide to stick with the syphon soul (replace with syphon life), keeping the vamps that mainly do 2 damage or equivalent, put in bloodchief ascension!!!! for sure
take out underworld dreams, add 4x horrifying revelation, keep only liliana caress (not megrim) take out feast of blood, blood tribute, replace with diabolic tutor(demonic if you have the money) no need for life gain with goal of bloodchief ascension.
take out geth's verdict, put in 2 more gatekeepers, 4x pulse tracker, take out bloodseeker, subversion, bloodhusk ritualist(replace with hymn to tourach)
add hexmages for plainswalker control, 4x hideous end, take out anowon (replace with 4x bloodghast)
sorry it was all over the place in the description, but I think that's about it. I kinda changed the whole thing around, but I'm already in the process of making a deck very similar to the one i just described. the focus is not at all on vamps tho.

its in my side deck, but bloodghast doesn't come back efficiently enough. The only thing I would really use him for would be to sac to scry for the other cards i really need, but I don't have that many lands, so him coming back would be a fairly unoften occurance. I had him in there before I went to improve it. The marsh flitter or 2 pawn of ulamogs with bog initiate, recurring nightmare and ashnod's altar is infinite. the resembling skeletons, bog initiate, and ashnod's altar is infinite. the skullclamp allows me to get to the cards i need faster. viscera seer allows me to get to the cards i need faster as well.

If I were to add something of that effect, I'd put the butcher of malakir in, in which case, they would sac all their creatures at once.

(To go along with the iname's effect, but without needing the patriarch's bidding right away, possibly at all) Akuta, Born of Ash, bloodghast, demigod of revenge. For the unblockable aspect, Ghastlord of Fugue, but there's many others to consider as well.

theres so many better cards than counterbore that do the same effect (surgical extraction, meddling mage (kinda), extirpate, memoricide, etc), but regardless, imp's mischief is the answer in the situation, along with divining top.

imp's mishchief for redirecting the extraction or other cards that do the same thing, as well as putting in surgical extraction itself. Keep the thrumming stones. its the only way of playing your whole army closer to the beginning. As for the day of judgement factor and other board wipes, there is an answer if your combo has come out. First include Viscera Seer, a highly underrated card for a common. once all your rats are out, in response to any board wipe, u can sacrifice all of your rats yourself to scry for the exact card you need LIVING DEATH! your beloved rats will all be back the following turn for more mishchief. OR... If you just want to end the game right then, also ending the fun with your rats however, you can include the mortal combats. scry for it, and you'll win within 2 turns anyway. also include sign in blood, and all the fetch lands that search for swamps (thinning the deck to get to what you need, best option). And for the last kicker of the deck, mainly just to really speed it up for ya, include divining tops. when you sacrafice all of your creatures in response to a board wipe effect to scry, you can tap diving top (another highly underrated card) to draw the card you scryed for right away, without mana. This would be the best case scenario for the countering of the extraction effect cards with imp's mischief (tap divining top to draw the imp's mischief and instantly counter the extraction effect) I've been thinking about the defects of the relentless rats deck (lets face it, the idea's already widely used) and how to help defend its defects while keeping it's ferrocity. With the Diabolic tutors (forgot to say this one), the viscera seers, and imp's mischief, the divining top, the living death, the fetch lands, and the mortal combat, the deck can still remain mainly solid and do its original job more often than not, having some answers to other people's answers...Anyway, there ya go.

Dam!, I've left so many comments. sry, but I forgot to put that the Tajuru Preservers also protects you from eldrazi annihilator, which was my actual original reasoning for telling you to put him in the. It also protects from all is dust. anyway, I think this is the last comment for a bit.

also, idk if you're gonna take this to tourny's but if so, sideboard should include 4 autumn's veils, 4 canopy covers, a 2nd viridian corrupter, a couple Tajuru Preservers (ur deck has slight weakness to vampire deck maybe), and acetiscism, however many you think.

I don't remember if you had sylvan ranger in there or not, but add him in there. It'll dual as adding more mana from lands and thinning out ur deck to draw non-land. The deck is, for the most part, a very fast deck. It's elves after all :).

I also just realized that if eldrazi monument costs too much for you, you can use viridian to destroy your own artifact too. yeah, viridian is a good choice. I would almost say put 2 in now, lol.

the last two comments weren't supposed to be separate. idk how that happened, but the way the 2nd suggestion goes, it sounds like i was telling you what to do cuz my previous comment got cut off... not the meaning I was going for. sry.

journey to nowhere, swords of plowshares, path to exile, oblivion ring. I wouldn't know what to take out here either tho. I like a lot of it. There no creature destruction here tho. It needs that. also, Realm Razer is a win condition in itself. you should definitely add him in here. Joiner Adept, Lotus Cobra, and Quirion Elves are good to have in this deck as well (mana production). Also you need to put in the moutain/forest (Wooded Foothills), forest/plains (Windswept Heath), and mountain/plains (arid mesa) fetch lands in here. Fetch lands are a must. Sunpetal Grove, graypelt refuge, Razorverge Thicket, Raging Ravine, and Stirring Wildwood are other useful dual lands, and Oran-rief, the Vastwood is a good +1/+1 counter land.
Hope this was useful, because I'm making the same color EDH deck with Mayael the Anima as the general as well. Its been looking very similar to this except for all the suggestions I gave you just now. There might be a few more changes later, but it looks like we have similar edh style. Let me know what you think of the suggestions and tell me why you WOULDN'T
