Deck Description

I really love storm as a mechanic. However all of the storm decks go out of my budget due to their expensive landbases. So why not go mono red? This is still quite a budget deck and needs Gitaxian Probe, but I wanted to keep the price at a minimum.

Budget is around 65$, would love to hear suggestions!

How to Play

Storm ain't easy to play and neither is it easy to teach. If you actually want to learn how to play Storm decks, go watch some gameplay of it.

Deck discussion for Modern Mono Red Storm

Gitaxian Probe is another "free" draw spell that I highly suggest adding.
Pyromancer's Swath turns Grapeshot's 1 damage into 3 damage, meaning that you get to kill off a smaller storm count. Just be sure to only drop it the turn you combo.

I noted in the description that this deck should have Gitaxian Probe, but I wanted to keep this more budget. Swath is also a nice option worth considering, but I'd rather use the Ascension as my engine since it can more reliably win you the game if it's online. Thanks for the suggestions, but basically I've already gone over them many times before.

Sorry, I forgot Probe costs so much. I've had a set since about the time they were printed.
