A budget Merfolk deck for standard. Cheap on MTG Arena also since the deck only uses 4 rares. Arena also has a free Merfolk precon with many of these cards, which makes building it even easier.Sideboard contains pricey upgrades, sidegrades and potential sideboard material. If you were to upgrade the deck, I highly recommend at least 3 Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca. The next set Ravnica Allegiance will most likely contain the enemy coloured shocklands, so for the future Breeding Pools will be a good upgrade to this deck.If you have any questions, just ask.
Play a bunch of Merfolk, put counters on them or just buff them with Merfolk Mistbinder. If you have Kumena in the deck, you can draw a bunch of cards too.Tap down enemy blockers with Watertap Weaver and Merfolk Trickster to get in for damage.Finish them off with a well timed Sleep. (Sleep can tap down blockers for 2 turns!)
