Aha I see!
I did hesitate before the comment though, somehow I thought Vigean will really be a good boost to the deck, but at the same time, his fragility on early game can be rather worrying. Then I realized! Proliferate = Stronger Vigean :D

My good sir~ I suppose Dauthi Warlord would be a nice addition.
Oh, I ain't comfortable with Legacy I must say, all my recipes have been built along the line of Modern Format
Also, with my other two rule of thumb 'BUDGET' and 'FLAVOR', I can't afford to step too far away with an adventurous spirit.

I don't suppose I play in the competitive field either, in gameplay I strive for longer matches with twist and turns, speed isn't my concern and well... some of my decks that swings that way has been stabilized to run longer. Unfortunately this one is an experiment as to how well would Regent group up with Shadows.
But I do appreciate your time for evaluation.

Hohoho!

It's not that hard to gain counters now huh?! Haha!
Feel free to add Corpsejack for more menace! (See what I did there?! LOL)

Woah....
Lantern of Insight with the optional milling from Codex Shredder really pulls off a unique combo!
It's almost like selectively disabling your foe! :)

I was never fond of clashing but now I see the fun. Still, I'm not comfortable with clashing (Revealing my top card)

Yo sup there!

Always respect to fellow Budget Builders..
Pretty Sweet!
I was thinking you could replace Vigean Graftmage with Contagion Clasp. Gotta find a way to Lower your opponent's creature's power.
Vigean Graftmage would be tricky to pull off, that's my worry.

Yo yo!!

Having Wild Ricochet or Ricochet Trap
While the first is a rare card, it hardly cost more than a dollar. :D
Both of them bounces off the spell to another target of your choice, the first bounces and copies. The latter cost 1 drop instant of 4 if a blue spell is played this turn, which makes it situational but it wouldn't hurt to gamble :)

Hey hey! Yo! :D
I've looked through the deck!

Perhaps to add on to the bounce spells, there are silent departure, Echoing Truth and Disperse to consider :)
For counter spells, Mana Leak and Cancel would be ideal to consider as well :)
For Discarding, try Despise, Duress or Distress, those are staple cards to discarding!

Btw I've made my pauper deck! Check it out when possible :)
Peace out!

Hmm, Niblis have it less flexible I must say. I went for the Rusalka mostly for her Sacrificing ability so that AFA can salvage my fallen Caryatid for another 1 draw the next turn. Rusalka kinda recycles my spirit creatures along with AFA to maximize the 'When you play a spirit or arcane spell' Effect.

@1111222334; Aww Gee! Don't say that! :)
I'm done with the deck, as in the cards, I'll test it a little and do some fine tuning.

Hey yo!
Thanks for the commendation! Haha :D
I do hope that my style that I developed would help players to focus more on harmony and minimalism instead of pumping cash into big cards and smack their enemy senseless. To each his own, I suppose this is my way of Magic :)

Exquisite Blood has a high CMC :(
Blind Obedience has high price x( - But it would fit into the flavor!

With the early game, you'll want to have Arrest, Pacifism, Pillory of Sleepless and perhaps just one Curse.
Actually.. The Ace in this deck will have to be either Sorin or Three Dreams (More like... Three NIGHTMARE... YEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH)

Ooooh oooh!
Hey there guy with many numbers in name haha (I see what you did there)

I'm aware of that format :) Pauper was it?
I'll give it a shot soon, but my last code of construct is Flavor, which is why I'm afraid that Common cards alone will hinder flavor.
That might not be true since I've not tried it haha.
Good to know that there are budget players out there! :D

Pretty little rats!
Budget is the way to go!
At least yours has flexbility haha. Mine was complete discard and pressure, no way to salvage myself in case of dire situations.

Still, Budget is the most attractive part for a good deck (In my opinion)
Mine wasn't really budget though xD

You could consider Tribute to Hunger too, that instant cost 1 black and 2 generic. Makes opponent sacrifice a creature and you gain life equal to its toughness. Pretty helpful late game when the big meanies come down.

Ponder would be nice! Brainstorm too!
For Defenders, I think Guard Gomazoa will be good enough for that :)

There aren't much big fishes around. I love them but there are less than 40 of them :(
Only 2 Octopuses in the entire database >.<

ho hey!
I've got a solution for you :D
http://mtgvault.com/rosverde/?p=2

Alternatively, you can go to Magiccards.info
Under the advance search and key in the 4 creature sub types that Ula temple can pull out. Perhaps that'll help you :)
And Scrying is important too!! Scry lets you rearrange the order of your draws, plan it carefully or use it to save your doom-struck starting hand :)

Hey Bro! Yo! :)
You could consider using Arcane Melee, perhaps 2 copies of it is what I'd suggest!
Always good to have a Plan B in case Electromancer doesn't show up on time!

I love the flexibility and speed of this deck. By speed I mean card advantage :)
I prefer drawing fast, having options over winning fast... That's just me :)
Anyways, I've replied your comment on my Ice and Fire deck. Sorry it took me some time to backtrack my decks >.<

Haha. Glad that there are people sharing my sentiments :)
No point fretting over whether should I invest on expensive Miracle Cards or Mainstream quick and OP creatures.

I love my decks the way they are :)
This one hasn't been constructed yet! But if You wanna, you may try making it! And tell me how it goes ;)

Yo yo!

I think you should replace Memnite with Thrumming Bird :)
Thrumming bird will get a clear shot if your Fuel for the Cause or Contagion Clasp/Engine removes the right threats.

Could consider Energy Chamber too :)

Hey thanks! :)

Hmm, Perhaps Not >.< Since I wanna make sure everything except for AFA is has Spirit or Arcane in their subtype :)

Martyred Rusalka really completes the deck haha. She lets AFA work her magic.
