Try 60 cards. In a deck like this, Furnace of Rath is a good option.

If you do it right, you only need to do it once or twice. But, I guess I see your point... In that case, Elspeth, Knight Errant is required.

Let's see... You could just use Loxodon Hierarch, Resescitate, Wail of the Nim, or Wrap in Vigor to regenerate your dudes, or you could use Second Sunrise to return your stuff to play. Way easier.

I went with Alpha Status simply because it only benefits me. Because this technically isn't a tribal deck (I can't really count on conspiracy staying out after all...), I'd rather play it safe. That and the feel that I got from the song was that there should be one straight badass out at a time.

Citanul Hierophants works well with any token horde deck.

I like the direction you're taking, but this could be more consistent. I realize that you built with what you have, but for the future, I'd drop a Coat of Arms and the Angels in favor of more Samurai. I'd even lose a couple of the Samurai as well just so you can double up on the better ones. (Golden-Tail and Takeno are almost unstoppable together...) +1, though.

Yup. I get to think a lot at work, so I dream up awesome decks, build them, play with them for a couple weeks, then take them apart and build something else.

I might come up with a 1v1 version to take to FNM one of these days. Trouble is, I always have other stuff going on Friday nights so there really isn't a point.
