Once again, standard and cheap are not my strong points. Sorry man. Although, I do have a new infinite deck for you. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=35952

I don't see the point of Lich's Mirror, but Oblivion Ring and Kaervek's Spite would work much better.
Not bad. You should look into Mycoloth, and replace Fists of Ironwood with Verdant Embrace. I'd also look into getting Doubling Season if you have the cash. (Also, not to be a dick, but the plural of 'fungus' is 'fungi.')
I'm not too familiar with this area of play in the Magic universe. I'm pretty much a straight forward player (a barbarian of sorts). But what I CAN say is that you need to trim out the cards that you just don't need. I know you have a lot of searching ability, but what good does it do if you have to search for half of your cards to ever see them?
Tight. I'll work it in eventually. I have plenty of other decks I'm going to put it in first (such as my dredge/knight/reanimation deck with Haakon).
4 coat af arms is a bit overpowered, isn't it? Why not replace 2 with Akroma's memorial to make your rats harder to block?
So you're going to block with...?
Omfg. Have 40 cards in the library? Draw 40 cards, deal 40 damage, play 20 spells, and put 20 cards back on your library. Draw 20 cards, deal 20 damage, play 10 spells and put 10 cards in your library. See a pattern? I just killed 3 people. Infinite enough for me. If you're going to argue semantics, make sure you don't do it arbitrarily. PS - in that same amount of time (1 turn) I just set up two more INFINITE combos. Suck it.
Oh, I'm not saying anything bad about the new cards. They rock. I'm just sick of "Jund this" and "Esper that." Call me an old codger...
I like it! Have you looked into Soulcatcher/Soulcatcher's Aerie? Nice and cheap (2 drop) and pump up pretty quick. Kangee might also help. Of course, they really only work well with Pride of the Clouds.
May I suggest Scapeshift just in case something goes wrong?
So where does the infinite come in?
You're welcome. ;) Dude, forget Searing Wind. Keep with the infinite feel and use Savage Beating with Spellbinder. I'd also replace Vitalizing Wind with Decree of Savagery (yummy). You might also want to replace your shooters (?) with unblockable or hard-to-blockables. Butcher Orgg, Lone-Wolf/Rhox-like dodgers, and Whispersilk Cloak would all be nice.
Alright. I'm going to get to work creating the ultimate combo deck. 300 cards will be EASY to amass. I also have a Battle of Wits deck, dknight. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=27680
I know, but we all stopped playing Magic in the middle of Kamigawa and just started up again at the beginning of this year. I never had a red/blue deck, and the few that I have now have little if any cross color synergy. Basically, I just need good filler in between the cards stated in the summary because, as we all know, 4 different cards won't make a deck run.
Dude... Curiosity only costs one. Screw Ophidian Eye.
I was hoping to offset the high costs with Dream Halls. Do you have any suggestions as to what spells might work best and what to take out? I would prefer to keep asmany cards multicolored as possible.
I have Mishra in any artifact deck I can put him in. There really is no reason NOT to if you have him. Forbidden Orchard is there because if my opponent either doesn't play his creatures or doesn't have any creatures in his deck, he'll have something to kill himself with.
Yup. It's REALLY dirty in multiplayer. Kill one opponent by drawing, play half the cards in your hand with Dream Halls, then tap Niv-Miz and kill another opponent by drawing, play half the cards in your hand again, then attack with a third opponent with a Spellbound Dragon (and most likely overrunning him for the kill), and kill another opponent with the drawing that results.
Hipponox, you should know by now that I'm going to look at every deck you make. Is it bad that I can tell which ones they are just by the titles?
