I agree with you on Overrun, but I don't know if resurrection is what I need. If someone manages to destroy a key card, I remove it from the game with Relic of Progenitus and re-stack my library. If they remove it from the game, they're wasting their time. Maybe I should foot the bill for Noble Hierarch? If you all seem to agree that this deck is worth it, I just might.

Never thought of Meph. Vamp. for a modular deck. Pretty tight. +1
I can dig. You might consider making room for Followed Footsteps. 4 Mycoloths per turn sounds pretty nice...
As for getting it into your hand, you could splash white and opt for Enlightened Tutor. White would also help to recoup some of the damage you'll deal to yourself.
That I could most certainly do. In fact, I already have something in mind. Bant colors...
Oh, I've done that for a while. Problem is, nothing jumps anymore.
The group I play with was introduced to Magic by a notorious cheater. He taught us different rules that allowed his decks to run differently than they should, and therefore destroy ours. One of the rules he neglected to mention was the "legend rule." We built entire decks around legendary cards (my friend even has a deck with nothing but legends in it), so it looks like we're not going back any time soon. That's why you'll see so many copies of legends in my decks.
lol. Thank's 'nox. Lately, I've just been rebuilding old decks as I think of/find cards that would be perfect for them. I'm not too good at keeping my ideas locked in my head, and this is the best place to put them. I figure that if someone is inspired by a deck I build, that's enough for me. Plus, the Vault beats having 400 notebooks full of deck ideas laying around...
I'm just all dried up, hipponox. I can't find any new cards that scream "build a deck around me." Once I do, you'll see a return of the combos.
Yup. It's just for fun, so I'm not worried about winning them all. Plus, if you leave one of each card out of the library, no one will ever get to touch them. I might tweak this a bit after some playtesting to include some way to remove cards in my graveyard from the game as well. Ultimate recylcing deck, maybe?
Agreed, beefcake. I also have a few merfolk decks. My pride and joy is my islandwalk merfolk. Undefeated.
I just got to use Captain's Maneuver to kill an opponent with his own Phage!!!! AWESOME!
Yup. I got to pull that one out last night in a play test. Nothing like dropping 4 Dragon Tyrants and 20 2/2s for 9 mana. Except attacking with those very creatures the next turn with Shared Animosity out... I just wish I could do everything I wanted to do with this one single deck, though. There are too many ways that I could go with it, and I just feel frustrated. DAMN YOU STATISTICS FOR TELLING ME A 200 CARD DECK WILL NEVER WORK!
Yeah. I can't even remember why I added black in the first place. Sanguie Bond wound up in here somehow and it's the only reason there's still black.
lmao. I think it does, but since the Radiate/Wish ombo doesn't work, what does it matter? I was too busy freaking out to notice that the word "target" isn't even CLOSE to being printed on Death Wish.
lol. Agreed.
Shared Animosity would be a good addition.
Dogged Hunter + Thornbite Staff.
Damn. I got ahead of myself, didn't I?
