I would try
-3 Gitaxian Probe
+1 Ponder
+1 Shock
+1 Dissipate/Brimstone Volley (depending on what you find yourself needing more)
-3 Slagstorm(SB for Mental Misstep)
+3 Ponder

-4 Dispatch
+4 Oblivion Ring - gives you permanent control and a permanent answer for a card before you have Gideon
-4 Porcelain Legionnaire
+4 Feeling of Dread - goes with the theme
-1 Plains
-1 Island
+2 Moorland Haunt - really nice to have this in the deck

This is what I would do
-2 Jace Beleren
+2 Jace, Memory Adept - better for the mill (you might try 4)
-2 Unsummon
+2 Sword of Body and Mind/+1 Keening Stone and +1 Traumatize
-1 Mindcrank
-2 Howling Mine
+3 Keening stone - great for mill
-1 Djinn of Wishes
-1 Phantasmal Bear
-1 Curse of the Bloody Tome
+3 Ponder - good to rig your draw
If you find yourself not needing Dream Twist/Tome Scour to win try running more control/draw rigging like preordain or dissipate

I like gidoen jura for a planeswalker, mostly because he will make them do an all out attack, letting you kill a lot and counterswing, as long a gideon is alive then you get a second one to. But, i understand that you are on a budget.

I'm not sure that tumble magnet is good here, you might try gatekeeper, especially since they likely won't have many creatures. More removal is also another good option 1 each of doomblade and gfft would be good, as well as another lilianna.

This looks like a cool deck, but i think you could switch noxious revival out for something else, maybe more removal, and the blight mamba for a necropede, since it seems unlikely you will ever have enough mana to use the regeneration anyways.

This deck could sb mental misstep if it started having problems with mental missteps. If the opponent has to save mana for counters every turn then they will have some serious trouble dealing with anything you do get out since they can't play anything and have mana for counters. Any turn a control deck is tapped out to play a something could be enough for a kill.

I agree with massentropy, but i also think you should run assault strobe in addition to that, combined with immolating souleater it can be a very fast kill.

You might want to try a few more creatures like white knight instead of all the equipment, maybe switch the accorders shield to white knight or hero of bladehold. As for SB you should stick Journey to Nowhere in for sure. Maybe try a planeswalker either in sb or main deck depending on level of aggro your going for, or one in each. You should look at my knight deck

You always seem to have pretty unique takes on decks or a unique idea to begin with.

IT'S LIKE OPENING SURPRISE PRESENTS THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED BUT YOU DO KNOW IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!!!!!!!!

I can see how the throne could be very helpful, but I think that the only way to know for sure is to play with it and see
