I was considering that, I think I'll try it out.

I assumed it was a reference to "Maelstrom."
I love that Maelstrom Djinn/Emerge trick, that is great! Lots of cool synergies here. I missed out on Khans, I'm glad to see they did Morph some justice.
I'm working on something similar, but without Drake Haven and with New Perspectives, Pyramid of the Pantheon, Corrupted Grafstone and Vizier of the Tumbling Sands. It can "combo off" with Faith of the Devoted pretty early. Fun deck!
I've always liked Walking Archive in my UW fog decks. It's a Howling Mine with legs and a decent mana-sink for the late game. Although, Dictate of Kruphix didn't exist the last time I built a fog deck, and that seems like a better card.
Something like Explore or (as someone mentioned above) Flash Foliage might be more useful.
I always liked Aven Mimeomancer + Desert/Quicksand/Grasping Dunes for some removal tricks. Wing Shards and Favorable Winds are a good fit, too.
Yessir! And performing really well in our local meta recently. Servant is such a target anymore, I thought Highspire Infusion would be an appropriate sub to test out. I'm missing the trample provided by Larger Than Life, but Built to Smash helps mitigate that. Later added the Hellions, mostly intended to be used as Fling targets, or as a plan B to drawing Pummeler.
I thought it might benefit Enigma Drake (since I run 4) as an alternative strategy/Fling target.
True. How about 2 Contingency Plan to complement the 2 Anticipate? Seems like a good fit. Any experience with that card? I have none, unfortunately.
Made a few changes. How do you feel about Invigorated Rampage here?
Excellent advice, thanks. I'll definitely be making some of those changes. I agree on Reduce//Rubble, just wanted to test it out. I think I had Commit//Memory in that slot originally, to much greater effect. This was a sweet deck idea, btw.
Ah, yes - I haven't play tested this in about a week and the "sideboard" is in complete disarray. I'll work to clean that up. Soul Scars were on a trial run, not sure if I plan to keep any at all. I'll definitely re-visit the build this week. Thanks for the input!
Excellent suggestion, will test it out. I really like using Prototype with Bomat Courier, they are like their own little two-card "plan B." Do you think adding some copies of both is worth dropping Flameblade Adept? That's the current direction I'm leaning.
Felidar Guardian would fit so good here! Damn shame, I tell ya.You could do -4 Felidar Cub, +4 Watchers of the Dead and call it "Amonkhats!"
Start Your Engines over Aerial Mod maybe? Could do -1 Land, -1 Built to Smash, +2 Start Your Engines, as well.
Larger Than Life over Monstrous Growth maybe? Also - Vector Asp so you can do something turn one? Benefits from Ghostfire Blade too, since it's colorless.
I know, I figured you'd be ok with that, since the same can be said of Path. You still kill a land/creature with either card, in the end. Otherwise, what are the Traps in there for? Just in case? If so, they might not be appropriate as a four-of.I know of only two cards where a library search is not optional, but they're unfortunately in green.
A couple Ghost Quarters might be a good way to help trigger your Archive Traps.
Tower Defense works really well with Assault Formation.
