Deck Description

The Blue's Brothers: Jace, Tezz, Grand Architect, Treasure Mage and Lighthouse Chronologist are on a mission from Gad.

It's obvious that Jace and Tezz together are broken, but if you add in Grand Architect, Treasure Mage and especially Lighthouse Chronologist to the mix, this deck is devastating. I was taking three turns in a row at one point with 2 Lighthouse Chronologists in play, and then I dropped a Mindslaver.

With all the mana ramp for artifacts, you can easily play those big 6 drop creatures and still have tons of mana left over to level your Lighthouse Chronologist, or stay untapped for your counter magic.

Inkmoth Nexus and proliferate in this deck is a nice alt win condition. Tezz + proliferate is just disgusting.

Also, a nice little trick with Tezz and Jace with Contagion Engine vs aggro. Use Tezz to make your Contagion Engine a 5/5, bounce it back to your hand with Jace. Play it for -1/-1 counters on their creatures and proliferate. You can continually have a way to defeat aggro with his combo out and still have enough mana for counter magic.

This deck has so many threats and so many ways of winning, it comes at you from every side.

Playtest records vs my decks:
Caw Blade: Win 2-0
Holy Evil, Batman!: Win 2-0
Boros Landfall: Loss 1-2

Deck discussion for Blue's Brothers

There are a few other things I'm throwing around as ideas for this deck.

Leyline of Anticipation could cause some very tricky plays with this deck.
Elixir of Immortality would be a great way to get some life and re-shuffle the graveyard.
