@PushYeah, I have Wall of Shards sitting in sideboard on here right now. It's probably going to replace Wall of Omens. The other two critters look fun with this deck too, thanks for the advice!
Legality isnt an issue, as they do Vintage FNM at one of my local cardshops, and I can swap it for Desperate Ritual I think for a Modern run at the other cardshop. It does pretty well and actually combos off rather nicely. I played it earlier this evening against several people. =)But I didnt realize that about Infernal Plunge! Very very nice. Thank you! And I'll look into some of the other spells you listed. By the ruling I found, I can also reverberate Tormenting, draw 4 cards, and only discard1! Sweet!

Yeah. He's pretty great. We started dating based on friendly trash talk during a game between his old golgari deck and my mono red. Now we are getting married in December. Lol.

In the end it's your deck lol but r/w heroic is pretty strong. And since you aren't focusing on standard there's lots of stuff to choose from.
Yep, end of Innistrad, start of Return to Ravnica. That was my introduction to Magic. I miss Innistrad alot XDI had friends who played magic as a kid, but I never got into it until my now-fiance-then-best-friend sat me down and explained it to me so we could play.
Battle is a good card. Two drops dont raise the CMC too high. I've seen a R/W heroic wreck face using Skills and Glory, why I suggested it. I'd honestly take out Titans Strength for Skills.
Endurance is just too expensive mana wise for this deck... and I'm not too worried about lacking creatures in this with all the lifegain.Athreos could be fun, but I'm not sure where he'd fit in.... plus the only 2 I own are in another deck I havent listed on here yet lol

Since its not standard anymore... try Madcap Skills and Martial Glory. R/W Heroic is always a good deck =D
I missed that XD Boardwipes can still get it though, since it doesnt target. But people rarely sideboard "Destroy all enchantments" in my experience and usually only have "Destroy target Enchantment" so yeah, shrouds pretty good XD
