i reallyyyy like this deck, wins in potentially 3 different ways

does anyone else see that theres some synergy between splinter twin and wall of omens too sure its not infinite but drawing once on your turn and once on your opponents turn never hurt anyone unless your playing against mill but who would be dumb enough to try that one against a mill deck anyway
-4 quest for pure flame +2 tuktuk the explorer +2 coat of arms (turn 5 the game ends...) -2 claws of valakut +2 flame slash (take that vampire nocturnus/broodmate dragon!! )
lol ty, i cant spell apparently =]
^^^ i must agree many of the combos seem situational and cant possibly come back from a good DoJ or a well played path to exile, in some instances i could see lightning bolt or even demystify toppling this deck on its side and it not being able to get back up and still i appreciate people trying to build decks other than the current meta id swap spell pierce for deprive, as this deck has no costly parts to it, it should be an easy card for you to play without gettn mana screwed and hell's thunder hellspark for hellspark would be cool too
is 20 lands enough for this deck? you seem to have some decently costly creatures/spells and maybe throw in a perimeter captain or wall of omens to stumble the early game?
if you really want a deck thats gonna abuse spawnsires abilities go check out my eldrazi fog deck
its kind of hard to run a deck where well over half the deck is cmc 4 and up
if you plan on trying to keep this deck in standard i could add some suggestions such as 3 llanowar elves for the 3 doubling season also try to fit more mana in the deck, this deck can not go a turn without mana dropping until at least turn 5 if you want to keep this deck more in the realm of extended i think you should seek out some of the older players on here for help, i would recommend cakins, he has over 133 decks on this site and would be able to help you out more then i have the experience to do so
it wont dissappoint, and yes especially for the price, ty =]
11-3 at fnm pre-roe (lost only to a mirror match and a very strong version of vampires) the deck is 3-0 against jund surprisingly enough and yea i would loveee to get an elspeth but theyre super hard to find and even wen you can find them theyre pretty pricy =/
this against my blightning burn would be a fun match up
id say put one more of ur big bad game winners in here because there is actually a slight chance of drawing them both before you could set off polymorph as the deck is designed to play a little slow until you can polymorph for game
no problem and the best of luck to you =]
i too was very weary of the clerics when i first started playing this deck, but without 1 or 2 of them the deck simply can not defeat mono red burn, the ondu can be a late game savior pulling yourself out of a situation where you are just a lightning bolt away from a loss
yes but how many 1/1's do you see floating around in standard? not too many, well used for attacking and blocking anyway and i could see your reason for pulling her, for me she is of more use because of nocturnous making her a flyer, i did not initially take this into account so that may not be the best of ideas and i apologize, however in her place i think you would get more use out of vampire hexmage then you get from bloodthrone and no problem and i hope we are talking about the same bloodchief, i mean drana, kalastria bloodchief with the same cost as bloodwitch, i would never advise the use of the mythic kalitas, i feel his cost is too high to be of use
i like this version much better then your last, i would say try to find a way to squeeze in arrogant bloodlord another kalastria cant hurt if you can get your hands on it and lastly i find that drana, vampire bloodchief or wutever her name is is a better choice then malakir for non-white matchups obviously malakir has her place in the sideboard ps- i dont blame you for not wanting to shell out the dough for the nocturnus' however if you could trade for them they really change the deck into something tier 1 you should go look at my take on vamps, it is very similar and it may help you in obtaining a final version of your deck, good luck =]
^^^ toasty brings up a very good point, this needs to be either confirmed or disproved by a reliable source on a ruling
i like the idea of more control too, i tried to make this deck as flexible as possible, i believe the sideboard does a good job of this =]
swap the hookmasters for outfitters would be my only idea
