Deck Description

esper myr with tezz, ajani, and venser. :)

i made a tezz aggro deck a while back, that made it to the front page ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=150749 ) but have since been interested in making a tezz myr deck, obviously you'll want to mix in some white for temered steel. so i'm left with an esper deck (again. i really seem to like esper... ha)


looking at white, black, and blue cards that will win me the game, i see a few. firstly. tezz, then ajani, then at a slightly later point, venser. he's a god. not for his + ability, that's silly and super situational. no... i ended up not going with ajani b/c he would offset the mana curve too much, but w/e. i still love him. xD

venser's -1 ability, in a deck where i have 400 tokens, that have all been buffed up. they all attack. PEWPEW! :)

or tezz's -4 when i have the same amount of tokens, or even ajani's -1 to give them even more buffs, AND to give them vig. so i can attack, AND defend. :) or attack, and them tap for mana in main phase 2. :)

the deck is still in the works, and i've yet to play test it, but i like it so far, and it seems like it'll work well. :) anyways, let me know what you think! :)

Deck discussion for esper myr

seems like an ok deck to me, looks like it could be a bit slow until you have enough artifacts out to pope Tezzeret's -4 ability or attack with a myr battlesphere. but between the tempered steel enchantments and Myr Galvanizer's you seem to be pumping up your myr's rather nicely and able to put out a lot of 1/1's if you have the right cards. just seems like your going to be taking some damage early game unless you block with your mana producers.

other than that, looks like a really fun duck to play. I'd play it for FNM. :)

I like the concept of this deck, it's pretty wild. However I'd only run 2 Tezz and 2 Vensers. Having 3 is nice and all, but can lead to dead draws you don't want. One thing you could do is throw in a couple Control cards in place, just to help with the beatdown. I always find, even in weenie decks a small assortment of well placed control cards make a huge difference. You could sideboard some [card]Go for the Throat[/card] or [card]Journey to Nowhere[/card]. Just a couple idears.
