Deck Description

Arbor Elf, Farseek, to help ramp up to quicker mana to help cast increasing savagery etc to help get a powerful flyer with slumbering dragon. Savagery and howlpack are will buff smaller creatures to make them more useful especially slumbering draon. Kessig Wolf Run will also help to buff a creature and grant it trample for good damage quick. Huntmaster is a good middle creature for the deck granting some better board presence as is known. Strangleroot and Ash Zealot are good haste creatures with staying power with undying and first strike to mention with counters to buff either and kessing wolf run.

Deck discussion for [standard] R/G Aggro

What're you running Ash Zealot for you're not casting anything from the grave

That's a good thing? It would hurt me if I was casting a lot of stuff from the graveyard. In terms of increasing savagery I won't care if I take 3 or whatever if I'm getting back 10 damage in counters.

Prefer to keep the deck cheaper in mana and price, thragtusk is too much $$ and a 5 drop I would like to avoid. Also it does nothing for this deck in the long run. I'm aiming more to fast damage to the face than I am about building up for 5 gain in life and a creature that will die really quick whilst having done little in comparison to hellrider or something which will be more beneficial in the long run.

Anything specific you've seen in the Gatecrash spoilers you'd like to add here? I've a feeling Gyre Sage will do more for R/G than it will for G/U.

Gyre Sage does look pretty good I would think about using it here instead of farseek maybe.

dormi rade seems pretty cool as far as a planeswalker. If I feel like it I might try her out here.

Clan defiance seems to be a really nice card, so if I do go with Gyre Sage then it opens up better mana opportunity for a good cast on that card which could be really useful.

There is another card that I thought could be fun but I'm forgetting it's name right now, I believe it's {r/g} {r/g} to cast then it gives you {r} {g} which opens up the ability to play it and then off it's mana play lightning mauler giving each haste on the soulbound and swinging in for a good 4+ damage turn 2.
