Deck Description

NOW WITH MY LATEST CHANGES, considerably stronger, using new removal like curse of the swine and Rapid Hybridization combined with Suture Priests. Mirrorweave for a late game kill.

Can now deal with mass creature decks much better.

Most Hunted decks I've seen are combined with black. I tried to do something different and it seems to work well.
The idea is to get out a Suture Priest and use the Hunted Phantasms to deal the opponent damage through giving them creatures. Cackling counterparts are used to copy the Hunteds on the opponents turn so I can attack with them on my phase to do extra damage. I went through my collection and added removal and control cards to keep the game in check in case I can't get the Suture Priests going.

Would love to hear peoples thoughts and any suggestions.

ok i love the deck u have here!!

changes i would make, add in maybe 3 ghostly prisons, some phyrexian metamorphs, phantasmal images, another clone. its just more torture really. also, more card draw/digging would just explode this. ponder, preordain, telling time, sleight of hand and think twice would all make some good additions here.

Oh Ghostly prison would work really well, in fact I just added 2 Lord of the Unreal today and removed the phantom warrior and a Warclamp. Just as a way to beef up my cheap illusions in case I don;t get the Suture Hunted combo going. I've play tested it a bunch of times and have been dropping hunted on turn 4 or 5 and stacking 10 damage because I've had 2 suture priests on the board. I'll see if I can pick up some sleight of hands. Much better than whispers or obsessive search.

Thanks for the ideas

Momentary Blink (and to a lesser effect, Cloudshift) can flick the Hunted.
Alternatively, black instead of white opens up Bloodseeker to replace the Priest, and allows for the Blood artist + mass removal "combo" (Cower in Fear comes to mind). I know that the black idea is against what you're trying to do, but it's more "evil" imo. Also it allows for Hissing Measma (in place of Ghostly Prison) and Stronghold Discipline.

Yeah I totally know where you are coming from, Black/hunted seems to be the best combo, I just wanted to see if there was another way to work the deck, it seems to be working well, but obviously not where it could go if I use black.

Thanks

Leyline of Singularity would also be evil in here. The token creatures Hunted gives will still enter the battlefield, allowing for the Priest to force the opponent to lose life, then the legend rule triggers to kill all the creatures >:)

Again, a black blue version using the leyline allows for the use of Hunted Horror. Imagine this: start game with leyline out, play a swamp on turn one and a second swamp turn two, tap both for the Horror. You get a 7/7 trampler and the tokens it gives to the opponent die to the legend rule >:)

Very nice, I recently made a very similar deck focused around priest and blood seeker, with hunted phantasm / ghoul and a lot of bounce for my opponent's creatures. This looks pretty good, I'd say focus less on phantasms and more on blinking hunted or bouncing opponent's creatures to really abuse suture priest.

Thanks, your probably right about focusing more an the theme of the deck. I'm just worried that in case it doesn't work for whatever reason I have the illusions as offence/defense.

Is there anything specific you would change, taking them out would give me a good 12 cards to adjust.
