Deck discussion for Budget UB Control [Help]

You really did a great job despite your budget restrictions. There are a few things I'd change though:

At first: you are going to want to play Jace Beleren in this deck more than anywhere else. Most control decks (and I think this one belongs on that list) are built to trade out one of your cards for another of theirs. If you play Jace, you draw twice the amount of cards, meaning you will have twice as much the chance you draw the possible answer to whatever there's on the table that's troubling you. Now Jace is not really a budget card, but as he rotates out soon it shouldn't be hard to trade for.

Second: I don't feel like Deprive is good in this deck. The fact you have to bounce a land can really trouble you if you need to counter a certain card but plan on playing Wurmcoil or Titan or Sphinx on turn 6. I'd consider replacing it with more copies of cancel. There is a possible better replacement but that requires you to play another card(s) and really a playset of those.

Third (here's the card to play another counterspell): TUMBLE MAGNET! This artifact is absurdly strong at keeping caw-blade decks off your back and allows you to effectively play another counterspell: Stoic Rebuttal. This card can be a solid Hardcounter for only [U][U]. If you plan on playing that counterspell, you might consider adding a few more artifacts to make sure u get that metalcraft. Everflowing Chalice is a strong card in this deck. As your mana-weight is not too high, there should be no reason to hesitate, and it counts up to your metalcraft.

If you plan on playing Stoic Rebuttal, (and even if not) I'd seriously play Solemn Simulacrum in this deck if you manage to pick up any. Now Solemn Simulacrum is an expensive card, but if you can trade for it, you should really do that. It is a card that put's you on 6 lands on turn 5, so the wurmcoil/titan comes a turn earlier. That is especially strong against aggressive decks that are about to tear you down. The Titan and the Wurmcoil are both capable of completely destroying any aggressive strategy that may come your way.

Third: (these are a lot of cards I'd replace by an almost similar card but slightly better)

Spell pierce > negate
Diabolic Tutor should be completely removed to add in something like Lilliana Vess? Lilliana will tutor more often but comes a turn later, but can provides more different abilities, which is more likely to pay off. again, Lilliana is not really a budget card, but it's not expensive at this very moment. If you could trade for one or two, I'd seriously consider it.

Remove 2 go for the throat and switch them for Doom blade. You'll be in big trouble if Wurmcoil Engine comes your way or you face a Tempered steel-based deck.

Finally, there's something I'd do but I don't think you are capable of that due to your budget restriction: Remove Jwar Isle Refuge and 2 islands and 2 swamps to put in 4 creeping tar pit (best manland available) and 4 darkslick shores. Both will eventually be better than Jwar Isle Refuge, and you don't need to worry about things coming into play tapped as you play a control game, so you should be able to keep your opponent quiet long enough...

Strong decklist overall. Perhaps Karn Liberated as a 1-of would be fun to play? It is a very solid removal spell and if you manage to defend it, you can really screw your opponent.

Like your deck, plz comment on my decks...

Actually I consider all of your suggestions...the only thing is that I don't have the money yet to build it completely. :D

Jace's Ingenuity isn't bad in this type of deck either, lets you refill your hand at the end of their turn if you still have counter mana up that didn't get used.

IMO, Jace's Ingenuity is a bad idea to be placed in this deck merely because it has a 5CMC and I would rather cast counters rather than play this on my opponents turn. Thanks though!

That's the point. If your opponent DIDN'T play anything on his turn and you have counter mana still available, you still have the option to use that mana for something before starting your turn. I use them in my current deck and sometimes will go over 7 cards in my hand at the end of my opponent's turn, and then cast down below the 7 card limit on my turn so I don't have to discard. But if you want to use Dark Tutor to pull up specific cards as opposed to gaining general card advantage, that's entirely your prerogative. :) I just don't like having to tap out to use it. Nice deck for sure, though.
