not needed for flavor reason. The allusion is that Mons is the Lightning Crafter.

I can see that you're trying to remain standard legal. But I think a better theme would be to kill the angels for more Leonin. Or even better Savanna Lions! *goes to chase ball of thread*
The sutured ghoul already has trample so dragon fangs is unnecessary.
You sort of forgot the dread return. I don't see anyway other than the artisan of kozilek to actually reanimate the ghoul and thus you're just playing a whole shwack of lands that enter play tapped, and a lot of really large creatures. I'll recommend that you only play one each of dragon breath and sutured ghoul because you don't Want to draw them. The entire point is to reanimate them (and thus play it sooner than you would be able to otherwise. Not bad though. The hermit druid is a good match for this type of combo and would do well as a sort of redundant backup.

I would cut a couple lands in favor of two more kiln fiends. They're quality creatures. I also think that there are limits to good taste and your deck name in this case does cross the line a wee bit. I see no reason why you couldn't have just called it "Cheap Burn" or "Budget Burn." Just because I don't find something funny doesn't mean that I have "no perspective of real things that are wrong w/ the world." It means that you are insensitive to what others find to be offensive.
I'd like to point out that without any real ways to exploit landfall in your deck, or to recur lands, I don't think you're going to get much mileage out of Valakut. I mean, you're running goblin guide's and ball lightnings. I don't really think you'll see past turn five all too often.
This deck is all over the place and some of your choices confuse me. For example: You're running tarfire. When you also are running lightning bolt. Why run one when the other is clearly superior. All its doing is adding another card to a deck that's already over sixty cards. My suggestion would be to try and narrow your focus a little bit.
Well, rather than moon glove changeling I'd suggest something like Clone. And rather than memory sluice I'd suggest the Phenomenal Leyline of the Void. Other than that I think its pretty solid. The sideboard seems smartly prepared as well for the inevitable second game Emrakul side in.
you know what. I think my favorite elf is the Elvish Harbinger. It mana accelerates, and it tutors for specific elves. Which is great depending on what you may need at any given time.
well since your already into five color silliness than how about Fist of Suns, and Maelstrom Nexus.
What? You don't think a little puppy somehow swinging a bunch of swords sound's familiar?
For a glimpse of what playing this deck is like watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt7xzyAio_o&feature=related
I think the counterspells may not work out for you. Mostly because I don't foresee a turn where you don't end up tapped out anyways.
There's a general rule with madness decks. If its not a card you'd want to play without the madness cost than it probably isn't going to be a card you'll want to play at all. In this deck I see five madness enablers, and thirty three madness cards. And I'm assuming that you don't plan on Biightning yourself. What I'd suggest doing is dropping the cards that are basically unplayable without their madness costs (ie Dark Withering, Psychotic Haze, Ichor Slick) and put in cards that make you discard. Jaya Ballard, Task Mage is probably the best madness enable period. She's like the proto chandra. Deepcavern Imp is another good card for this. It's cheap, has haste and flying, and an echo of discard a card. Gathan Raider's also has a nice synergy with madness decks, you can play them as morph's to force a discard, and then they also get stronger once you have no cards in hand. Which is likely since you'll be pitching cards left and right. Painter's Servant is a bit of a tricksy thing to do in this deck. Playing it and selecting red means that you always have a card to pitch towards Chandra's ability. It might not be totem armor so in theory this card can backfire but Oblivion Crown is a madness finisher card. tl'dr. -2 dark withering, -4 ichor slick, -4 psychotic haze. +2 Jaya Ballard, Taskmage, +4 deepcavern imp, 3 Gathan Raiders, +2 painter's servant (or Oblivion Crown)
You're running landfall. So deprive over dispel. And Time Spiral? As in the power nine time spiral? It's overpriced.
I'm confused. At the moment the aura gnarlids don't have Any support. They run off of enchantments, of which you are playing none. I don't see any synergy between gnarlids and kiln fiends at all.
And my suggestion is going to involve even more money. I think that the four sparkmages will probably be enough pinging for the deck. Instead of the vithian stinger's I'd suggest running Oracle of Mul-Daya. They have a lot of synergy with both Jace's brainstorm ability as well as landfall creatures like the Geopede's.
I've no idea if it will "work" Looks like a fine thematic casual deck. As some tech ideas I'd recommend trying to run a few more copies of Karrthus and a playset of Sarkhan the Mad. You could use it to remove much of the opposition and make them play dragon tokens. Then, play Karrthus and gain control of all of them. Now this is expensive but its a fun tricksy kind of thing to do.
wait. Wait, did you just say that force of will wasn't good?
