Maybe instead of using white for spot removal you could use it for creature buffs like Marshal's Anthem. Makes your elves bigger and with all the mana you'll be producing you can kick it for a bunch. You also should lower your 3 drops and add in more 1 drop mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Joraga Treespeaker. Also, I'm a firm believe that every elf deck needs to run Regal Force. Besides that, I love all elf decks! Elves are just so much fun to play. LIKE!

Ill try Faithless Looting, but its a sorcery plus it would really suck to top deck it lol. But! I do like its drawback way better than Desperate Ravings...that random card can hurt sometimes.

Ahh! Infinite Myrs...I like...but I totally agree with Chilfinger...4 Galvanic Blast for sure...and maybe throw in an Eldrazi Monument since you will be making tokens with Myr Propagatpr to. And I am really surprised to see no Myr Battlespheres...with the infinite my combo youll be swinging with a infinte/7 creature every turn.
Thank you, I appreciate it. Ive been playtesting this for the past couple of days and Im gonna test it out this coming FNM. I like it...Im just gonna work out the kinks...trim off the fat...find somehow to make it faster. Plus it scares people because they think I am playing Valakut Ramp...so I guess it is like a little mind game of sort as well.
To be honest I am not sure what is more humilating...being overhelmed by a heard of cows...or loosing to a bunch of squirrels...haha wizards needs to bring back squirrels
Make bant Allies than...white/blue/green. You dont need Kazuul Warlord that much because he is to much mana...and Hada Freeblade and Kazandu Blademaster just buff up so fast anyways that you wouldnt need Kazuul Warlord in the late round...you would need Kabira Evangel.
But Overwhelming Stampede buffs up ALL your creatures...with metalcraft only Ezuri Brigade gets buffed up...the rest of your elves will just be 1/1 until you get Joraga Warcaller out. And focusing your elf deck on just Ezuri Brigade is a bad idea...elves are meant to have multiple ways of winning. Im not downing your concept...bring out a bunch of artifacts to buff up one guy to crazy numbers is a good idea....but if you want to do that play with Kors...elves...they are meant to ALL be buffed up not just one elf.
Yes I totally agree. Personally I would get rid of all the artifacts. You dont need mana producing Myrs because your elves produce alot of mana anyways. And you dont really need Ezuri Brigade either. Replace it with some Overwhelming Stampedes. And for a elf deck you need 20 lands, not 15.
You might wanna add in a couple of more Nissa Revane...she can be bolted really easily
No Kazandu Blademasters or Hada Freeblades? Those are the most important and perhaps strongest Allies since they are one/two mana drops and they get really big really quickly and Kabira Evangel, who gives them protection, is white as well. To me, I would always use white when making an Ally deck and than splash a color...all the good, cheap allies are white. But that is just my opinion...I do like the proliferate ability though...haha buff up those Allies fast.
No problem man. I completely understand that you had to make do with what you had...but I like it. It is almost like a Elf Highlander deck...one of each elf. I like it though.
I like this deck...but that is just because I like playing Elves personally lol. No Joraga Warcallers I see. How come?
If you use 4 Preordains than Two Jaces should be fine. Might also want to lower the amount of Frost Titans in tour deck. Maybe two since your deck is so draw heavy.
Thats a really good idea concept...use your enchantments to "fog" the damage or reset the board of creatures. Than sit back and swing with Gideon and ultimate win with Jace. I really like this control deck...and its cheaper than most control because it only runs TWO Jace's lol.
I did run four Preordains in the main, but it seemed like using Jace was much faster. Plus it allowed more room for counters. And I would LOVE to use Gideon but unfortunately I do not have one :/
You know, Ive seen some really good token decks played recently in FNM. May take out the red and put in White and add Elspith and Garruk. Those are two Planeswalkers that will produce tokens every turn. And perhaps play with 3 Beastmaster Ascensions since its your winning condition.
Lol thank you for the compliment, but no Im not really that good. To be honest, Ive on been in Magic since Worldwake, so my deck building skills are not as great as some others out there lol. But yeah, I like that little twist as well. Its like my version of Memic Vat...but free haha.
You could use Jace Beleran for card draw. That would leave room for more counter spells like Cancel. Just a suggestion
