Such removal. :P

Yeah but I would take 1 away from the plane walker that has 4 of the and if you know what I am talking about add some juggernauts in there with those poison counters and the green add trample spells it would be beast

Okay, first juggernauts aren't legal for standard and second, that is just so random to throw in here for a superfriends deck? Its about the planeswalkers so why would I remove a whole set of one? Dafuq

Don't remove the whole set just make it even with the rest and yeah juggernaut is not standard but it is like the best card in the m12 and m13 and it might be reprinted in m15 so yeah and if you waned to make it not standard then add the juggernauts

0

Well I don't feel like adding juggernauts because it seems like that would be the win condition even though the planeswalkers do that themselves.

I agree with Splooge on this, this deck after the wall of text below this comment. Is actually very good in it's current set up. No need to add just a single card and not be in standard. If he did, then this deck would be horrible with the massive number of decks in Modern which could cripple it.

Yeah just wait until m15 and then ibet most of these cards won't go standard and plus I eard the was another new one coming with it to

We shall see. But I just looked up Juggernaut. In all honesty it's not all that good :l. 4 mana for a 5/3 that is forced to attack each turn and can't be blocked by walls. This deck would never want that. If ANY creatures to be win cons it'll be the Walkers themselves or the Worldspine.

Ok we'll I have a deck irl and I have juggernaut in it and it is beast it has won me all my legacy duels

Apparently the legacy where you live isn't very good then, or is mostly casual.

0

It is mostly casual and what would you want to see in this deck then

0
Posted 30 December 2013 at 03:15

Continue reading the rest of the comments below, I have said quite the amount. And I suspected Casual, remember there is a difference between Legacy and Casual, Legacy decks are built to tournament/FNM quality. In a Legacy deck of that level you would be dead before you would have the mana for a Juggernaut or it would've been destroyed/countered for free.

Ok we'll now that you tell me how you think of it. It is legacy

0

So the deck you built with the Juggernaut is for Legacy tournies?

0

Yeah I played 1 yesterday and I came in 1st place and got a whole box of theros

0

I see. Congrats to that I guess considering the unlikeliness of that. I still have very high doubts that Juggernaut is useful in Legacy, unless it's casual legacy.

Oh vay I also got some extra packs for my first tournament so then I pulled some beast cards and got some another but I have not opened those yet cause I am going to do it with my YouTube channel

0

I see... But I think we've begun to stray from the original topic. Juggernaut for this deck, No. It's a Super Friends deck, he has enough win cons that suit the deck as is. Adding in a card that doesn't have interaction in the deck at all and in fact may not come back to Standard will not be of use in a Standard deck. Fair enough?

0

We'll first of you can still take away a vraska the unseen and maybe add 2 Nylea's

0
Posted 30 December 2013 at 03:47

... What's the point of her? All creatures he has are Defenders, lack the devotion to reach Nylea, and the only effective use of Trample on a creature is the Wurm, which already has Trample. And her pump won't do much for the same reasons.

A Super Friends uses Plainswalkers "AS" the win con. They don't need creatures. Grixis Super Friends only has 4 Weirds and it wins a shit ton of games like that.

1
Posted 30 December 2013 at 03:50

We'll then maybe you can add some liliana's and then take away a vraska the unseen

0
Posted 30 December 2013 at 03:55

Liliana only works in Mono Black decks, due to all of her abilities being focused around Swamps, which he only has 3. And he wants the Planeswalkers to do work, destroying, making creatures etc. Not fetching him up a Swamp.

Nah, we're just slamming heads. Just leave the convo be. A Super Friends shouldn't add more creatures, otherwise it isn't Super Friends.

Considering you are using Garruk, shouldn't you have one or two massive Green creatures to atleast take advantage of all his abilities? Possibly Worldspine Wurm would be a good choice, as if he dies due to removal you are getting something from him still.

2
Posted 25 December 2013 at 03:17

I was going to post the same thing. Either worldspine wurm or you could just do something overly large and bomby like giant adephage or sylvan primordial. I like the primordial because it's also very flexible.

0
Posted 25 December 2013 at 03:35

Well, if someone uses a kill spell on the Primordial, nothing much happens. With Worldspine is cycles back into the deck and gives you 3 5/5 tramplers. Which can win the game on their own.

0
Posted 25 December 2013 at 03:38

No I mean you're right, Worldspine is the bombiest thing you can drop. I just like primordial because it hits a lot of utilities in this format (detention sphere, underworld connections, planeswalkers, nykthos) and you can usually play it without needing to use Garruk's -3. I would actually recommend both, so if you ultimate Garruk you can get a giant monster wurm to show for it.

My other thoughts on this deck are that abrupt decay is better than putrefy, defend the hearth is pretty useless (particularly with this many defenders) and you could use some of the better defenders like sylvan caryatid. This would end up bringing my advice to:

-4 defend the hearth -2 putrefy -4 angelic wall, -3 basilica guards
+1 abrupt decay +4 sylvan caryatid +4 trestle troll +3 sylvan primordial +1 worldspine wurm

By the way, really great deck man. I like the combination of axebane, removal, and junk superfriends and it looks pretty competitive

0

In response to this jumbo comment. Take the Worldspine not the Colossus, as the Wurm is green and therefore usuable with Garruk. And since you are in the Black/White colors, Merciless Eviction could be a use for a Board Wipe.

0
Posted 25 December 2013 at 04:21

Oh shoot, you're right. Garruk says green. I can edit that, just thought the defender was cute. Also, I don't know why he would want to boardwipe away his mana creatures... He has point removal for any problems he runs into

0
Posted 25 December 2013 at 04:23

Yea, but also think that you'll need to pay 10 mana afterwards is a bit of a turn off. xD

0
Posted 25 December 2013 at 04:24

he's got a lot of mana production, I don't think he would actually have trouble getting to 10 mana. But it's a moot point, as you're right about the green creature thing and worldspine wurm is normally better anyways.

0
Posted 25 December 2013 at 04:28

And for the Merciless Exiction, he could have one or two in the sideboard, in case he gets into a situation where a board wipe is required. Perhaps against Grixis Superfriends if he's falling behind, it also obliterates enchantments so it actually kills gods and the weapons, grabs Underworld Connections too actually.

0

I can get behind that.

As the people above me have already hashed out the major possibilities, might i suggest that hexproof 2 drop mana dork defender whos name escapes me, oh wait nevermind they suggested that too. well I do like the basilica guards, as they are a slight mana sink and some life gain to boot. Angelic wall does kinda suck when compared to trestle troll.

0
Posted 25 December 2013 at 09:25

I did think of trestle troll but I could remove angelic wall and put in 4 sylvan cryatids :)

0
Posted 25 December 2013 at 15:27

Well I mean now you have nothing to block flyers, which is why I suggested trestle trolls. At least put those in the sideboard, there are a lot of specters, demons, and dragons being played right now.

I'd agree with Mutavault if not for the already very strained manabase. GGG, BB, WW, GB..I don't think this deck can run with colorless lands.

You could use the Theros Temples to help fix the mana even further.More will be coming out soon that are in your colors.

0
Posted 26 December 2013 at 15:05

That's a fair point. There's really no reason to not run Temple of Silence in this.

0

And in the next sets, the other 2 temples when they are released.

0
Posted 26 December 2013 at 15:13

I would run 4 Sylvans and 2 Gatecreepers, the Sylvans just do more considering the same mana costs for both. And why not just use the classic Fog instead of Defend The Hearth?

0
Posted 25 December 2013 at 18:44

I chose Defend the Hearth because it protects planeswalkers along with myself. Fog couldn't do that in this case. and I could do that, and I will!

0
Posted 25 December 2013 at 18:50

I just pulled up Fog so I could read it, Fog prevents all combat damage. So it would stop the damage dealt to the Planeswalkers.

Not sure where to Squeeze them in but Advent of the Wurm is a nice Standard instant 5/5 on the board.

good sideboard material if nothing else. Surprise! 5/5 with trample!

0

Yea maybe Sideboard, as Elspeth and Vraska can be win cons on their own, note, put Rogue's Passage in the land base as it is amazing with her Assassins. And Garruk into a huge green creature is decent win potential.
