I will totally show all of my friends that want to play a budget deck with all standard legal cards this deck. This seems like loads of fun, and it could be semi-competitive. Nice build, totally worth spreading the word about for newbies.

The ultimate price is anti-junk rites. Kills both angels, craterhoof, thragtusk etc.

He gives everything scavenge, so you scavenge onto your Biomancer making everything even bigger when it comes into play.

4x Breeding Pool, 4x Hinterland Harbor, 10 Forest, 6 Island.

4x Rancor, 4x Simic Charm, 3x Revenge of the Hunted, 1x Cancel

4x Experiment One, 4x Gyre Sage, 4x Strangleroot Geist, 4x Predator Ooze, 4x Master Biomancer, 4x Wolfir Silverheart

That's the most straightforward and workable main deck I can think of for you.

SIDEBOARD.

3x Acidic Slime, 3x Plummet, 3x Ranger's Guile, x3 Spell Rupture, 3x Cancel.

For the sideboard, Acidic Slime for enchantments/artifacts ... Plummet for Flyers which you dont have, Guile for the control match, and spell rupture and cancel for more counters for whatever match up you may need them for. This is probably the most straightforward and workable.

Not a bad deck but Vampires aren't hellspawns - don't try and get that past a D&D nerd. =P

This isn't standard legal. Canyon Minotaur isn't.

Thanks for the input all. And sort of like some ideas I'm getting I'm taking a plummet and giant growth out of the sideboard for two Garruk Relentless as he can buff and give trample, and provide even more creatures to use and pump my champion. Or use him for removal. The two in the side should add even more utility. He combines the sprouting, planeswalker and buff suggestions nicely and he's relatively cheap and has room either early or late depending on the matchup.

Thanks for the input, I may do the rogue's passage. And sureshot, I'm trying to keep the deck specifically green, I'd only splash non-colored. But thanks for the input and I did consider making it R/G but everyone is playing r/g so I tried to differentiate myself a bit.

You have no buff spells and bad 1/1 one drops. Change something with that and why are you not running vampire Nighthawk easily the best death touch card in the meta. Wasteland Viper should easily be your one drop.

One last thought - I'd consider adding Syndic of Tithes as a two drop. You gain a lot of mana with this deck, but none of it has good use early. Syndic is a nice 2/2 for 2 with extort.

I agree, but I'd take out all the swamp advantage cards for more aggressive or defensive cards with extort. Having the mana with no real finisher doesn't help.

Why would you use hellraiser goblin? He'll probably die before he's useful since he has to attack every turn. I would take out the Hellraiser and then you have 60 cards and can more reliably draw something you need instead of running into a board wipe or a scenario where the goblin will die before giving haste.

Also, you need to cut it down to 60 cards, and Liliana really doesn't have synergy with the deck, so cut out a swamp then, and cut out death wind all together and you should have a pretty decent 60 card deck.

Lashes is too expensive, Wight does not fit, the Swing is pointless if the damage is already done, high priest is alright, but you clearly have the deck utilizing extort, which means that the Aristocrat doesn't fit that well, and the Treasury thrull is expensive. Go to your LGS and buy the two Screechers for 20 cents.

Oh, Sacrificing. Didn't think of that -- guess that's why I don't play zombies. Even better, then!

Awesome deck, but why the Brimstone Volley over Searing Spear? Mostly aren't you using the spear to clear a blocker, so the morbid doesn't come in all that often.

Predator Ooze if you can fix the mana properly too.

I updated the deck. What you see is my game 1 without knowing my opponents deck maindeck. I'll side in more of a certain card or take out a full card depending on my opponent.
