Deck Description

"Walk the line between madness and brilliance."

Took my current Iso-Seek frame, and applied it to Snappy =]

This is the cheapest deck I've ever seen! Congrats, you are now the Budget King :)

lol you bastards =]

I've been looking for something that could better my Iso-Seek, but as of yet...this still just serves as a placeholder.

Perhaps a bit late, but that third like would have to be me :P

I like the deck name. :) can't wait to see the rest of the deck. :D

LOL, only SWN could post a deck with no cards in it and get people to like it! Talent at its finest. :)

Dude, if we push SWN's deck with no cards in it to the front page, SOOOO many people will get butt hurt over it...

OHH YSH! But if it does, the (real) deck won't be noticed.

Holy crap...I should probably get this thing done finally...

There we go...Now it's actually a deck =P

Now it's 1000% better (which is actually 0...) :P

I like the deck. It's definitely not what I expected, and it's amazing because of that!

I made a Thraximundar EDH a while ago, and thought I'd let you know, since you did make one first. Check it out if you have a moment!

It is still better than most decks :D
Seriously, I've seen some very bad deck in the first page in the last few weeks. I wonder what's happening at the general level of the site.

Iso-Seek, Countertop and 'Snappy' all in one deck, why am I scared?

Ever since my Strong Hold on Discipline hit the front page, I've noticed Forbidden Orchard being used in peoples' decks more often. Is it just coincidence?

1

I've always liked Forbidden Orchard lol. People think it's cool that they get those little 1/1's, but usually it screws them over =]

1

Oh yeah! They think they don't have to play creatures (sometimes) so they play other things, and lose!

Orchard fits nicely in certain decks, usually combo. Cascade has been using it more often in Modern, I've noticed. Thought I was going against a net-decked Stronghold until I saw I saw them start cycling cards :P

SWN, I just noticed something amazing in standard! Leonin Arbiter makes Ghost Quarter good! Really freaking good man!

I'm not going to lie, I actually don't care for Snapcaster in Iso-Seek. :/ It's great in some decks, but with NO Bant, I just think it's just kind of unnecessary

I'm not sure about Snappy yet. I've yet to get a chance to try this one out and see how it works =]

Snapcast Tutor to find pieces of the lock, block then extract, snapcast thoughtsieze for disruption - I reckon Snappy will work out. This is classic SWN btw :)

Yeah...after further testing, Snappy is straight up NARSTY =]

Just to be one of those douches who comments on the Latin and not the deck, Ambulabo would be "I will walk," Ambula would be the imperative " (you) walk."

I know =]

Latin grammar is goofy with phrases like this...trust me, the 'o' suffix denotes the proper thing.

k i might/ will probly get called a noob for this but... how does this deck win?

0

Eck! Dude, you're such a noob! He wins by making the opponent forfiet or by removing the opponents threats (and then some) from their library, with Seek.

Without the bitterblossom isn't smokestack more of a hinderence to you then your opponent?

Nah, I have Crucible for lands, and once I get a lock, I care little for my other stuff. Plus, I can choose to stop the Stack any time I feel I need to =]

The true art of playing Legacy is being willing to harm yourself if it means you will win. That's why Legacy players are magic's most dangerous players...we're freakin' lunatics =P

and here we are once again, looking at the top tier magic players and deck builders for advice. God I'm such a noob :p this will probablly be deleted before anyone even reads it or gets to check it out, but if not, I'm relatively new to magic, (only a couple years under my belt, all casual play) and am looking for advice on my EDH deck, first of its kind :). I'm not sure which of these guys would make a really good commander/general guy, so i ask you, the kings and queens of the vault, would you please help?

Now I've played a decent share of games on both sides of extraction, and I can safely say, yes it can.
I've actually even managed to skunk extractors out with TES and Reanimator. (http://www.myfacewhen.com/329/)

TES...maybe, it's storm, but it's also damn fast.

Reanimator though? http://www.myfacewhen.com/i/450.jpg

I ran two dark rituals that day to test them out, I crapped a turn one Jin-Gitaxias game one :D Game two I boarded them out for Spell Pierces, and proceed to mop the floor by playing it as an Iona control.
