Deck Description

Worm tribal...sorta. Always wanted to do it, and finally decided to =] The deck is strange, but it works very well in practice.

Deck discussion for Six Feet Under

Ooh, this seems fun! If I'm understanding the idea correctly, wouldn't Thundering Wurm, Fallow Wurm and Metamorphic Wurm fit in nicely here?

Also, would you mind having a look at my mono-red standard deck?

Ah, snap. >.<
By the way, aren't you going to miss out on mana for actually casting your cards, if you have to spend it on filling your graveyard, or have i misunderstood the idea behind the deck? :P

Worm Harvest is a lot of fun, and killing your opponent with a ton of worms is both disgusting and awesome. Just imagine them writhing and wriggling all over your body...=]

haha i already have:p i love the graveyard theme here as well.. i've never used LED but it seems to make worm harvest all the more brutal lol then you just dread return your liege and bam a freaking butt load of 3/3 worms lol

Exactly. It's a surprising amount of worms to be honest. I wish soooooooo much that Spawnwrithe was a Worm Elemental, but it's not =/

It fits the theme sooooo much

Seems like you have a bit too much mana actually... Though overall a cool deck. I would drop the Tombs, as well as Cradle (if it's useful you have already won). You might replace them with 3 Maze of Ith, 2 Ghost Quarter, 1 Grudge. I think Confidant would also be a better draw engine than 6 cycle lands.

PS: I'm back! Check back, as I have been brewing some competitive decks I think you might like to see. I'm even looking at T2 again (thank god for Bannings!)

Hmmm, Worms. Did not see that coming.

Pretty neat, but I have to agree with Joe; The mana seems excessive, and me wanting to see Bob in here is probably because I've found Bob to be my favourite draw engine.

Also, on the note of Retrace spells, have you considered losing a Raven's Crime for Syphon Life? I don't know about here, but I run it in my pox decks, and tested it in lands, and it blew my mind how dangerous that card is.

Lol, I've been trying to make a similar deck for a while now :p Mine currently uses a lot more dredge and cycling lands and I also use the Elemental Incarnations (Dread, Vigor, etc) toprevent myself from milling myself because of the dredge. I haven't got the current version posted here, but it's very similar to version one of my deck labeled "Harvesting Worms"

Holy crap everyone's back! And now I'm back!

After testing this a bit, you guys are right, it makes a hell of a lot of mana. I did indeed put Bob into it AND Syphon Life (creepy huh?). I realized also that the Cradle is a catch-22 in this case. Lemme edit up the current design. =]

This is a great idea! My big question is do you self-mill enough to get the worm harvest consistently? I love how expensive a price it is for such a silly idea, though it really does look effective and like a ton of fun!

If you have a chance, help me out with a blue/white bounce deck i'm building.

Hi surewhynot,

The following card might make an interesting addition to this deck.

Worms of the Earth
Enchantment, 2BBB (5)
Players can't play lands.
Lands can't enter the battlefield.

At the beginning of each upkeep, any player may sacrifice two lands or have Worms of the Earth deal 5 damage to him or her. If a player does either, destroy Worms of the Earth.
