Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.


Deck Description

This deck involves playing defenders, instant and sorcery cards in order to gain more mana and land cards. This means that powerful high mana creatures will be able to played much faster. Also there are cards to make playing specific creatures easier and even at a cheaper mana cost.

How to Play

Just make sure you are able to get as much lands and defender creatures out. 2 important creatures are Axebane Guardian and Overgrown Battlement. These will help make it easier to get powerful creatures out and play useful instants and sorcery's. Once you have enough mana try and play Tooth and Nail. This will ensure that you will be able to quickly play the 2 very powerful creatures! Be sure to make those creatures hexproof so that players can't get rid of them very easily.

Just think about it. For example if you had 1 Axebain Guardian and 4 other defender creatures that would mean you have 5 mana already. This is because it gives you mana for each defender you control. Now if one of those 4 creatures was an Overgrown Battlement that would mean you get an extra 5 (because of its mana ability). Then if you also count the 3 lands needed to summon the Axebain Guardian that would mean you have 13. And that would be enough to summon Worldspline Wurm and Darksteel Colossus.

Deck discussion for Get powerful creatures quicker

Tower's Defense is probably a better sideboard card, Boundless Realms probably isn't a great choice, seeing as you get most of your mana from creatures, and Eldritch Evolution is also not a great choice because none of your defender creatures can get a biggie via Evolution and the only big creature that can find a bigger creature is Worldspine->Emrakul. Sure, that would be a good combo, but it's rare enough that it makes Eldritch Evolution a really bad card to put in just for that. Also, I might suggest a Fauna Shaman or two. And you might want to start up a sideboard, maybe get some Chokes, Pithing Needles, Graffdigger's Cages.... and really at this point anything is better than an empty sideboard.

Ok that Fauna Shaman card is very good I have just added 2 of those. I can see what you mean about Eldritch Evolution too so I have just removed those. Also I added a Boundless Realms because that card would be able to instantly make a Trap root Kami more tough. And Tower Defense could be a great combination if used in conjunction with Predators Rapport. I mean there are so many cards for modern now so it can become difficult deciding what ones are best to add.

Nice work! Something along the lines of Assault Formation, turning your defenders into serious threats, might be good to keep you from getting swarmed before your big guns hit the ground. +1
