Deck Description

Could having Emeria, the Sky Ruin work in a two color deck?
I have the capability to fetch 16 lands... overkill obviously. What should change, get rid of harrow? Get rid of terramorphic expanse? Put in Armillary Sphere in place of harrow and remove something or other? add in another plains or two? Assuming that the Emeria will work of course.

How about the sideboard?

Also how do you feel about Makindi Shieldmate?
I don't know if there's something to easily replace it.. Perhaps the Puma or the Joraga Bard?

Deck discussion for Allies for the win - standard

With this much land searching, I'd add in a landfall ability or two. Lynx, Gladehart, or Cobra would all work.

As for allies, I really don't have mush experience in standard. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Gladehart and Turntimber Basilisk are great for Landfall effects.

I'd wait on allies until worldwake comes out in february, there's just not enough of 'em, and if your opponent DoJs or does any kind of board wipe you're in a world of hurt.

I feel like emeria, they sky ruin wouldnt really work in this deck. It needs 7 plains, landfall would be nice to.

It might be nice to have a way to bounce creatures back to your hand so you can replay allies constantly. Emeria would work for this, but only after you have 7 plains out AND have drawn it.
