My first serious attempt at creating an edh deck. I usually like to find strange decks to play so I decided that some strange artifact/lifegain hybrid deck would be fun. Ideally, the goal is to gain enough life to stall and then win by any of the larger creatures in the deck. But there are alternate win conditions in turning mana rocks into creatures via Sydri, using sanguine bond to hit for life drain or, if all else fails, countering all of the opponent's spells and wiping what couldn't be countered. As this is my first real edh concept, any advice would be appreciated.
As a side note, I am aware that darksteel and blightsteel colossus would be good options in this deck along with the other beater artifact creatures, unfortunately my budget does not allow for those to be included as I already own about half of this deck in terms of cost. I may be able to make substitutions for cheaper alternatives if anyone is aware of some.
