Just wanted to comment on this even though it is a older deck/post. Sadly Turn Aside will not protect you golems from the Precursor Trigger effect. If you read 601.C it clearly explains that at the moment a spell is cast and it targets it will be replicated. You have to go through 601.a - 601.h for each spell, even if you are countering another spell. So 601.a - 601.h for Lighting Bolt and then 601.a - 601.h for the counter meaning everything in the middle happens even if it is being countered. So say that they are casting Lighting Bolt, choose its target, its considered Cast and goes onto the stack, so before you can cast your Counter, once it hits the stack, the triggered ability of the Precursor Golem procs and the Lighting bolt is Copied to the rest of the Golems. The best way to protect your golem is a way to sacrifice it as a cost or splash Green for buffs or making your creatures unable to be targeted since your instants are replicated also. Vines of the Vastwood is a great example.
