Deck Description

I started this deck off of my dimir draw control deck, because I saw the power of fate unraveler combined with Dictate of Kruphix. Talk about frustrating. Then, I discovered Forced Fruition and I tried to flip my desk I was sitting at. Shortly after, I came upon Underworld dreams and saw the absolutely ridiculous synergy between the 4 cards and started laughing, dancing and jumping up and down like a madman.

Super easy to make, and not that expensive for how powerful it is. I think that you'll find a nice bang for your buck here.

The reason I am running higher priced lands is because of the semi-tricky mana costs. I run mono blue, mono black, and dual colored, which after some careful playthroughs, showed that the lands that I put in are all necessary in order to make it so you can cast something like Underworld Dreams turn 3, or Dissolve, or Hero's Downfall.

How to Play

Make you and your opponent's draw a lot of cards, have them lose life for the cards they drew, and use the cards you drew for pack rat, counter, removal, drawing, or dealing even more damage.

The Hope is that you can pull off a forced fruition as well as hopefully one or more Underworld dreams or Fate Unravelers. Psychosis Crawler will also speed the duel up once you have howling mine or Dictate of Kruphix on the field, allowing you to obliterate your opponents life just by you two drawing.

Pack rat, Duskmantle Seer, and Erebos are necessary. If my opponent destroys my primary combination (s), I will need other cards that thrive in the deck to demolish them instead. ITS ALWAYS NICE TO HAVE A BACKUP PLAN if your main strategy gets countered, destroyed, etc... Pack Rat + Howling Mine/Dictate of Kruphix is always a speedy fun trick.

Also, any card with four copies except for dissolve is necessary as well. You may play as many counter spells as you like. Same goes with removal, drawing, and the two ultimatum cards: Erebos, and Duskmantle Seer, which tend to draw removal towards them, or speed up the game to a ridiculous level. However, I advise for the sake of the mana curve and playstyle of the deck that you only play 2 total copies between the two of them.

One calculation states that with a forced fruition and fate unraveler/underworld dreams on the field, my opponent will lose 7-14 life, and draw 7 cards FOR EVERY SPELL THEY CAST. Even if that means destroying forced fruition. YAY.

Have fun, and don't forget to check out my other decks too!!
