The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Fun infinite turn deck. Built with the intent that no card is over $30, sort of a format I refer to as economy-vintage. I believe Intuition was the card that came very close to breaking that rule.

An original version of the blue scepter deck was built back during Urza's & Mercadian blocks in Standard format and many of the cards in this deck had not been made yet. It did not work as well as this deck does.

This deck, until recently, had Broodstars and Blightsteel Colossus instead of the Darksteel Reactors. I didn't like that because it was all too easy to win by tinkering for the colossus 2nd turn and skipping the intent of the deck, which is to get infinite turns. The deck now relies on the reactor to win, which effectively uses the infinite turns. The reactor as a win-condition is slower than colossus, but has less ways to be disrupted.

No Sideboard since we don't play with them.

How to Play

Get out charge counter producers first... Energy Chamber is the most efficient one because it activates automatically and can't be killed by damage. Also, it can add +1/+1 counters to Coretappers and Metalworkers to block early attackers while you wait for the combo.

The scepter itself works far more effectively getting counters from the two counter producers rather than using its native ability. Voltaic key should be used on the coretappers if possible instead of the scepter.

Once you have infinite turns established, you just need the Darksteel Reactor and enough cards left in your library. I'm actually debating adding a Feldon's Cane or Elixir of Immortality in the event that the reactor is not obtained with enough cards left. Willing to accept suggestions on what to pull for that.
