Deck Description

Type 1.X/1.5

I currently don't have this deck (not complete) but consider building it. It's pretty cheap and based on pumping up all merfolk, giving them islandwalk and then attack the opponent who should already control an island himself thanks to Aquitect's Will. If a game turns out well, Surgespanner or Wanderwine Prophets shouldn't even be necessary.

Any suggestions on it?

Deck discussion for Merfolk Rush

Pretty good looking deck, coming from someone who also has a merfolk deck, and if you can, put a shapesharer in. It lets you make any changeling a copy of any creature for three, and if you put some Ameboid changelings in, you can make merfolk changelings, and copy your reejerey's. Lets you pump up your merfolk MASSIVELY, and also, you can tap or untap the world when you play something. (hey, check out my deck, "Destroy/Steal Creatures")

Thanks for your comments. And yes, I somewhat got the feeling that this could be one nice deck. And thanks for the card tips. World Purge is expensice though, and I don't think I really need it when I can still win easily in late game with Wanderwine Prophets and let say just one Lord of Atlantis and 1 or 2 other merfolk in play. Shapesharer and Amoeboid Changeling would fit in well in combination with Lord of Atlantis or (you're right, even better) Merrow Reejerey, I will think over that.^^ The only question would be what to throw out the deck for them. Grimoire Thief maybe? Nah. A banneret or angles? Maybe one Banneret, but no more. Surgespanner? Sage of Fables? Harbingers? I couldn't decide. >_<
