Well, if someone uses a kill spell on the Primordial, nothing much happens. With Worldspine is cycles back into the deck and gives you 3 5/5 tramplers. Which can win the game on their own.

I would stick in Thrumming Stone, to play all your rats like a madman. Then since you are in black get the tutors so you can get this thing out and your support artifacts and such easier.

Considering you are using Garruk, shouldn't you have one or two massive Green creatures to atleast take advantage of all his abilities? Possibly Worldspine Wurm would be a good choice, as if he dies due to removal you are getting something from him still.

For a general like Gisela, I would try to get more burn in this, since you can double the damage of the burns, making the burn spells that much more devastating. Things like Lightning Bolt, Lightning Helix etc. I would also dig around at Curse Of Bloodletting, Furnace Of Wrath and Quest For Pure Flame. These out will make you deal so much damage in a single hit.

Lose the Ascension for Elvish Mystic so you have more ramp and I think you'll be ok.

Melira is in play, so you're guys cannot have -1/-1 counters. You play Primus, get his ass killed somehow by a sac outlet perhaps. He comes back into play via persist to destroy another perm, loses counter from Melira then sac him again to keep going. Same thing happens with Finks as infinite damage.

I do like Avacyn and Sigarda a ton, but in all honesty they do nothing more in the deck other then be big beaters, and when Avacyn is out indestructible. But she costs a crap ton and you have nothing to Pod into her. If anything maybe Woodfall Primus? Because infi loop with him to destroy everything opponents control.

That is very true. And birthing pod pretty much does the same thing, but puts the creature in play and works well with the persist. Of which you should try to find more of to cause the infinite loop with Melira.

I know a card that is required in this, Birthing Pod. You can use it on the Kitchen Finks, kills him and persist kicks in returning him to the field. Then from the pod you get Melira out, removes the -1/-1 counter. Repeat.

No problem, I find those two removal are much better then just Doomblade and Cure, since one obliterates a ton of things, ie Reckoners, Spectres, even Domri and Ashiok, and the Putrefy is a murder that get's God weapons.

Eh no problem, I can understand the logic behind your reason there. Although the idea of banning some I think I can understand. Maybe Erebos due to his drawing ability. People think Thassa also because she Scrys each turn.

I'm doing some hunting on google right now, there is no talk of them not being commander general usable. People are actually talking about if they'll be banned due to their abilities of all things.

I'm pretty sure they can be used as generals. Since they are technically "Creatures" As a type and are legendary. Just when they are cast from the command zone they don't come in as a creature without the required devotion.

I would maybe remove the Sheltering Words, Coursers and maybe a Mender and a Child of the night for a play set of Elvish Mystics and Sylvan Caryatids. With gorgons you really need to mana ramp otherwise you may just get killed off before you play the big guys and long before you can trigger the monstrosity. And if price is not a huge issue. Try getting your hands on Abrupt Decay and Putrefy for removal, more flexible then Doomblades and the Cures.

Not really devotion, nothing takes advantage of it. But, here's some ideas to help upgrade the deck perhaps.
Instead of Pharika's Menders, perhaps get a set of Dreg Manglers? A 3/3 haste for 3 is always good, and can be scavenged later for the same cost as the Mender. And instead of the Emissarys, Perhaps look into cards that interact more with the graveyard since you have Salvage and Commune. Either Nighthowler, Nemesis Of Mortals, or perhaps even Jarad.
