Phyrexia and Shadowmoor work so well as a team. -1/-1 counters are almost a good thing here. Cauldron of Souls will give your creatures persist, so they won't die. They will get -1/-1 counters, which you can then feed to your Hex Parasites and Quillspikes. Or, just use Leech Bonder to move the counters over to your opponent's creatures. Or, you could just put out Melira, Sylvok Outcast. That will make all creatures un-killable, because they persist without the -1/-1 counters. Comments welcome.
