This is my very old modular deck. It was exclusively cards from the Mirrodin cycle, but I have now swapped Arcbound Overseer for Steel Overseer, Rite of Passage for Mirrorweave, and Skeleton Shard for Doubling Season. Using Arcbound Ravager while Doubling Season is in play is incredibly effective. (I also like using Mirrorweave to make all creatures 0/0 :P)

I have to admit, I am a little unsure of one thing: If a creature with modular comes into play and I have Doubling Season, I don't know if it comes into play with double +1/+1 counters.

Yes it would because modular 1 is an effect of playing the card, therefor it will put double the counters on it.
This is a very awesome modular deck! Very cool combos you have here! Mirrorweave is brutal! I'd replace the Arcbound Reclaimer with the Arcbound Stinger, cheaper & flying can cause some major problems to opponents.
