Haha, true that. I've gotten to the point where inifinite combos have lost their luster... they stopped being fun win-cons for me in our group. I do love Merfolk token decks, though-- you should check mine out: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=136497 Merfolk Wizard tokens + Aphetto Grifter is nuts.

Lol. For a while I ran 2 Hair-Strung Koto (I only own 2) in my elf token deck, but ended up winning via damage before drawing them that I eventually took them out for the 2 Squall Lines I own.

Haha, I've never seen that card before--I dropped out for awhile right as Kamigawa was coming out, so there's a few gems there I missed.

I understand what you mean. I only started at the end of Kamigawa, but lucky for me a few players in my group still use some of the older cards. Gatherer is also a nice 'tool' I use when designing a deck, it helps me find all sorts of not so commonly used. / forgotten cards.

Sometimes if I'm bored at work I'll just click the random card button on gatherer over and over. It's weird how I have odd attachments to certain cards, or even art work from certain cards, and what they evoke when they pop up-- be it fond affection or absolute hatred, lol.

Lol, maybe I should try that "random card" trick of yours to see what weird deck ideas I could come up with :p
