Naturalize is bad in infect decks. Nature's Claim is far superior. Destroy their swords or pesky artifacts or Claim your own artifacts when they're going down anyway for a little bump to your life total. I agree with everyone that Swarmlord is too big for a fast deck but Corpse Cur x2 is fine to dig up your creatures if you can't pull off the quick win.

You need a lot more pump in this deck in you want to have a chance at a turn 2 win. Add groundswellx4.

I'm not sure either actually. I saw someone else with the combo. But I think you're right, the wording says placed. But a simple addition of Hex Parasite solves some troubles!

I do have a single copy of Lotus Cobra in my possession but I removed it from this deck. I have thought of Omnath as well, and he might be better suited than some of my other early drops. I found I had trouble building my explosive mana base against aggressive decks such as mono green poison. He might be the edge I need.

If I have spare cash coming up over the summer I will try to snag a few more cobras. Omnath is cheap enough to pick up a few soon. Thanks for checkin this out.

Check out my Sunshine deck, stupid name but super fun. Might even be competitive, who knows.

Tweaked it up a bit more. Still has lots of fun wincons. This thing has incredible mana, enough to do whatever the hell you want.

Of course. That's what Apostle's Blessings and Vines of Vastwood are for. Birds of Paradise is always nice but it's tough to try and put them in every deck at 4 bucks per. They would allow me to cut Llanowar and Gold Myr though.

Oooh yeah, Prized Unicorn is sweet. I was going to include it in my infect deck but I only have one. Good addition, my friend!

Check out my Sunshine deck. I use Green Sun Zeniths in there and it's awesome. Pulls out mana creatures if I need them early game and once I get my mana base settled I can whip out the fatties with it.

Get some Glistening Oil! Stick it on their creatures when Melira is out and they can't touch you with combat damage. Recurs all game long! Just gotta focus on protecting that sly little gal any way you can.

Get some Glistening Oil in there imo. Kills off their creatures and they can't touch you while affected by it if she's on the field, then just focus your efforts on protecting her. The Oil recurs quite nicely too.

Melira+Oil is sweet shit.

Valakut without Valakut? Seems to be a TitanToken deck to me.

Hmm, I dunno then. That just seemed like the obvious choice with the mana cost and p/t. I should have realized it interacts well with Tez and the overseers. Maybe shave off 1 each of a few different cards to make room for a couple/few hawks?

I realize the name of the deck is totally lame, but I wanted a fun acronym and it revolves around "sun" based cards, lol.

Throne of Geth might be a worthwhile consideration. Plenty of artifacts to sac for when you might not be able to connect with your creatures.

After thinking it over another minute I'd definitely go with Kazuul, Sun Titan(or Wyrmcoil, both are snazzy as hell for this) and Elesh Norn. If they were gunning for your obliterator then attacked you could sack him, drop the Tyrant, potentially get a token. Pod Kaz, get Sun Titan-which gets back a baloth that you sacced earlier and then you could pod that and get another obliterator.

... yeah you probably don't need Elesh Norn at all, but if you went wyrmcoil instead of Sun Titan and podded for Norn your tokens from Kaz and wyrmcoil would be beastly.

Really do love birthing pod decks. If nothing else Kazuul and Sun Titan would be a safe bet for sure.

Am I crazy or is the Mana Curve buggin out? It says you have 4 card with 5cmc... I don't see any though.

I really like Green Sun's Zenith and Birthing Pod together. Great combo.

I'd say take out some Canopy Cover, mabye Untamed Might and add one off creatures that are 5, 6 and 7 cmc. Just in case your Obliterator is in danger of being removed via non-damage sources. Could leave you a much needed out in desperate times.

The 5 slot, Kazuul Tyrant of Cliffs would be a real nasty surprise, or else there's always Baneslayer.
6 slot could go to a Titan of your choosing(Sun might be the best to keep your pod well fed) or Wyrmcoil Engine would be sweet too for the tokens.
7 slot if you go that far could belong to none other than Elesh Norn.
Well I'm just going crazy with it now so I'll stop myself haha.

Glint Hawks! Possibly replace Vault Skirges with them. Sure they're not artifacts but they'll pump your quest in no time and with a Painsmith on the field you can get some beef from a Ornithopter, Glint Hawk-return ornithopter, play ornithopter again, that's +6/+0 for a creature and three counters for the quest.

Maybe that messes with your land base but they're pretty sweet and might be worth looking into.

I was about to say the same thing. It's pretty much worthless. Maybe some statue lands instead?

I'm so very tempted to play this deck but my metamorphs are inhabiting my S.i.M.P. deck at the moment and I'm having too much fun with that.

Also, you'd need red mana to activate the ability if you copied a Spikeshot Elder, but you could sideboard some prisms or whatever if you really wanted that type of capability.

I like it. I was going to suggest replacing your Oculi with Renegade Dopplegangers for some more thematic fun but that might slow you down. Though it can make for some pretty insane interactions when copying certain creatures(copying copies of certain creatures, also. Which is perfectly legal).

Just something to think about.
