Deck Description

A tweaked version of Red Deck Wins. I think Faerie Impostor is good for FDW because of the four reasons. (1) He is evasive damage, which is good. (2) He is 1 mana. (3) He bounces back goblin shortcutter and the Fanatic for utility. (4) He addressess some of the devotion removal in the format: (1) claustrophobia, (2) sensory deprivation, (3) and to a lesser extent pacifism. Rapid Hybridization is used in two ways. Get rid of something nasty like blood baron, or use it in response to a removal spell cast on one of your own creatures.

Deck discussion for RDW Impostor

A few thoughts for potential additions:

* Aetherize (nuke your opponent then charge, or nuke yourself to reuse abilities)
* Disperse
* Voidwalk
* Voyage's End

Basically, more bounce to really get those Imposters going, and to give them some protection from removal at the same time.

Oh wow, voidwalk seems pretty good actually.

If you're looking for something to get rid of, I'd consider the Frostburn and/or some of the Cacklers. Cacklers are good yeah, but you've already got a bunch of totally sick 1-drops and the RCs don't have any particular synergy with the rest of the deck.

I like this deck quite a bit just because of the originality. Though I admittedly don't see it constantly winning, this would just be fun...

T1: Cackler
T2: Ash Zealot
T3: Reckoner
T4: Fanatic for 7
T5: Imposters, bounce Fanatic for 7 again

May I suggest Magma Jet over Rapid Hybridization? It will help you get to your stuff faster and not give them a creature that is stronger than majority of your own. Granted, it is slightly weaker.

Yeah, I think Magma Jet may be better. I'll give it a try. I usually prefer Hybridizing my own creatures in response to removal or a bad block, and use it as removal only against something like blood baron.

100% agree with Magma Jet because it can be just burn to the face when you're running run out of gas, and it helps you get through crappy topdecks, so much more versatility. Rabid Hybridization is a great sideboard card. Nice deck :D
