Pattern of rebirth is always a good time. I've never seen that druid before, gotta say, love the combo.
If I had to offer a criticism, the only thing that sticks out to me is that in some situations, bifurcates might not be all that great of a pull. The reason I say that is because all the cool shit you wanna use it on only have 2 copies in your deck in the first place. Up against a mill deck/global draw deck You might not have that second one to pull, rendering the spell somewhat useless. Those are pretty common in my group, probably the only reason it stuck out to me. I think I'd go with 4 gaea's blessing instead, since you've got some death effects like the Doom and Wurmcoil. But like I said, that's with my group in mind. Otherwise it's pretty damn nifty.

Gyre Sage.. why didn't I think of that? I use them in my budget rg +1/+1 counter deck. Her evolve fits in quite nicely, and shes another creature who's good for the counter swap. Nice save Gran.

I've been here 2 years, and I have no idea. Don't really care though, which probably explains why.

Putrefy could be a nice sideboard for all those pesky artifact decks running around in casual. Plus it's nice to assassinate the johnny combo player's artifact combo linchpin.

On a personal note, you ever find that group to play with?

And since I'm here, I've got this newfangled simic thing I'm trying to wrap my head around, but I seem to be stuck. You wanna help a brotha out?

If you're not doing it with style, you're not doing it right.

I'd probably swap out a swamp for one, and run a few play tests to see how it feels. Or the two bloodfells for two if I wanted to pull it more frequently

This is true. That's why I'm saying go monored or, if you decide not to, at least change the dragonskulls to something useful. Not go mono and have shock lands. That's just silly.

Advice about multiplayer is kinda hard to give.. it all really depends on the playstyles of your group members. For instance, a friend of mine is really easy to manipulate into doing my bidding. He just doesn't know it. Which is why it's perfect. I don't mind being his Gepetto and traipsing his cards around the field like some kinda screwed up god's blessing. Here's how it works.

The guy (Hereafter referred to as friend B) pays a lot of attention to nonverbal cues, he's obsessed with figuring out people's "tells" as if this is a poker game. And he's right, in a way. The problem is, since I know that's what Friend B is looking for, I'll play into his hands. I make it not so obvious that I see a large threat from Friend C's field. Don't say anything, just kinda look at it and frown, check your hand, act like you're doing calculations with the other guy's mana, as if you know what combo friend C is trying to pull off. Small frown again, as if to say he can do it. Friend B will almost assuredly Destroy Friend C's "threat". And when Friend B does, don't laugh, look relieved. But keep it small and subtle.
I've been playing magic with this guy off and on for 10 years.

If you're going to play it against another goblin deck, I suggest coat of arms be removed from the deck. Sounds like bad news bears all around. And Illusionist bracers only seem to work on Krenko, so how bout you consider pulling those two out and replacing them with 2 Raid Bombardment?

Yea it seems odd to me that you'd splash black for a wall, a kill spell, and a meh damage spell. Especially considering the 4 valakuts. At the very least, I would run the Ravnica shock lands instead of the Dragonskull Summits because they at least count as mountains.

I really enjoy the idea of this, the Remands and Proteus staff are nice touches. Dunno if the Bitterblossoms are completely necessary, but hey, I'm a cheapskate. Maybe throw in some scry land or ponders to get to your poly's/staff faster, but other than that, this is freakin solid. Nice job.

+1 from me.

Have you considered running a Rogue's Passage or two? Make that Master unblockable and people will hate you. 4, tap, unblockable, swing, sac the fire whip, game.

Seems like it could be a good time, but this deck is heavily dependent upon having creatures on the field, so running only 12 is a concern for me. One or two kill spells could completely wreck your day.
Also, the prowess chicky is pretty awesome, but doesn't really seem to fit your +1/+1 counter motif. Have you put any thought into maybe Rakdos Cackler, or some of the Evolve creatures from the Return to Ravnica block? Starting them out with counters would greatly help your synergy with the Avatar of the Resolute.

But my play style/environment may differ greatly from yours. There's a lot of creature kill/direct damage in my play format.

I have a similar deck, focusing more on the counters than the beefing and swinging that you've got

Hope that helps

Dontcha think evolving wilds is gonna hurt when you have a Zozu on the field? Why hurt yourself?

True enough. I don't agree with underworld myself, I'd prefer the sign in blood 9 times out of 10. But that tenth time makes me understand the argument for the enchant.

Underworld vs Sign in Blood is just playstyle preference. Do you want the consistency for more mana or do you want cheap and faster? Underworld has the added bonus of providing for the merchant's devotion. Personal preference will win out.
