Deck Description

Note: THe deck should be named Gilder Bairn + Darksteel Reactor = Win, I just don't want to change it for those who remembered the name and want to refind it.

COMBO DOES NOT WORK, instead of pinnacle wait for reactor.

Well then. Here is the combo:

Training grounds, equip guilder bairn with paradise mantle, use one mana to put a single counter on helix pinnacle, tap guilder bairn for a single mana, and use that mana to use his untap ability (it will only cost a single mana because of training grounds) and well, just keep doubling to 100!!!

This can be finished by turn 4.

Turn 1: Forest, Birds of Paradise
Turn 2: Island, Training grounds, Helix Pinnacle,
Turn 3: Forest, Paradise Mantle, Gilder Bairn, put a counter on helix pinnacle
Turn 4: Equip mantle to the bairn and boom, tada!!


or, start doubling levelers with the gilder bairn.


The graft cards are for infinite +1/+1 counters on basically any card you want (with fate transfer) if the combo goes off :D

Deck discussion for Gilder Bairn + Helix Pinnacle = Win

Helix pinnacle has shroud. Gilde bairn cannot target it. Use everflowing chalice instead and get 100 charge counters on it, then add it to helix.

I love this deck and while I do recognize that you are looking for the turn 4 win the above comment does point out something important. If you do not draw a fate transfer there is no way to move the counters. Would it perhaps be easier to use darksteel reactor in this exact deck? Just curious to see what you think. Great deck.

Darksteel Reactor is probably a smarter idea than helix pinnacle. And the turn 4 win does not work anymore (it never did) because someone pointed out it has shroud. Fate transfer is supposed to move +1/+1 counters. Chalice was supposed to get to 100 charge counters, I tap it for 100 mana, then use helix's ability to put 100 counters on it.

but darksteel reactor is way more smart.
