Updated my old Venser deck for the third time! I also have a standard version of this i won't upload, this is the version i play in my playgroup, which is pretty laid back nowadays. That's why the angelic destiny's and Geist isn't a four of. We limit each other. I do have extra cards though and it is similar to "shit your pants on turn 3 deck" with a couple of differences. The mana curve of this deck used to be ridiculously high. its been severely shortened. Finally, the sideboard is also designed specifically for my play group, with specific cards being used against specific decks. My win condition is basically bunches of cards with Venser's second ability. And Spirit mantle for early on damage and so Geist doesn't die. I'm running 22 lands, but a lot of times i'm finding it hard to play Titan regardless, sometimes even Venser, i may up it to 23 or even 24. One card i do myself have a problem with is Mystic gate, but it really helps not getting mana screwed with like 1 plains and 5 islands. Its only in there because I gave my dual blue/white lands other than glacial to my friend who basically 50% of the games would get mana screwed due to his mana being 50% 2 blue or 50% 2 white, and getting only 1 white or 1 blue. He hasn't had that problem anymore, don't want to take that. He'll return 'em once he gets his own, and i'm in no rush to get em back. Oh, I have glacial fortress since i had 7 of em. Gave him 3, wanted to keep at least a little dual land for myself. Wall of denial when i'm fighting one of my friend's annoying flier decks for early blockers before i can pump out damage. DoJ becomes against some people's swarms and decks, its just a good bet to have one just in case. You can get most stuff in this deck back with a Sun Titan. O-ring and mana leak for a bit extra control if its needed. Avenger when more creatures are needed. True Believer against the RDW and couple of burns we got. Timely Reinforcements because i believe its just a strong card to have.
