A very cheap and fun mono-black Shaman deck that uses Thornbite Staff combined with Deathtouch to kill the opponent's creatures by just tapping our Shamans!
All creatures except for Desecration demon in this deck are Shamans in order to attach Thornbite Staff to them in a faster and cheaper way. We'll attach the equipment to any of the shamans as they come to the battlefield, and on our next turn, if the shaman doesn't have DT, we'll play one of our Deathtouch instants and, by paying two mana and tapping it, we'll be able to kill the opponent's creatures (which, by the way, will be a very good moment to play Tragic Slip). If we attach the equipment to Vampire Nighthawk or Bitterheart Witch, there's no need to play no DT Instants; and we must take into account that Virulent Swipe has Rebound, which is brilliant!Deathgreeter and Gnat Miser are Turn 1 creatures. Deathgreeter guarrantees some extra lifes, and Gnat Miser helps weakening the opponent from the beginning.Blood seeker will make the opponent cast only the necessary creatures, which makes it easier for us to kill them later.Vampire Nighthawk is the shaman killer himself because of his abilities.Pawn of Ulamog is there to help get some extra manas for the late game.Desecration Demon is there for late game, when the opponent has no creatures on the battlefield anymore, which will let us cast a flying 6/6 finisher for 4 manas. If the opponent does still have some creatures, it will help getting them out.Bitterheart Witch is the other finisher. She has DT, but what we really want her to do is to die, what will let us directly attach Cruel Reality to our opponent. That will clean their board once and for all and kill them very fast.This deck should just be around 7 dollars and is a brilliant and fun way to fight your opponents... and win!
