Ok gotcha on the terminology, imma bit of a noob lol. I have had a few issues getting him out on time, I'm working on getting more dual lands. I had four geralfs, that's one reason I switched to three and added the nighthawk....the other two slots were ( I'm embarassed to write this) fervor. So far the only decks I've lost to were uw control and a huntmaster, thragtusk, Olivia Jund deck. I thought the nighthawks scavenge and kessig wolfrun might help me keep up with the lifegain. Any help is appreciated.

I like your deck...I don't know what you mean with non black sources. The nighthawk I'm kinda iffy on myself, but with kessig wolfrun and the scavenger he gets pumped up. Jarrad is only there cause I can fling with him lol. But the jarrads order let's me grab a disciple and a gravecrawler or slitherhead. I've played it a couple weeks at fnm, usually finishing in the top five outta thirty. I'm trying to get a little higher.

I like this deck, really close to my pet deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=380137.
I would add some gnaw to the bone, kessig cage breakers, and spider spawning. I've been playing this deck a while. Kessig cagebreakers usually swings for twenty the turn I play him.

I agree 100% on the ghoultrees and boneyard wurms, but the ghoultree is usually a one drop, and even if they or the wurms get milled I benefit. I thought heavy about the ruinator but when I play test it it weakens my other creatures way to much. I've tried replacing the trees and wurms with rancor and wreath of geista, neither way played as well as it does now. Thank you tons for looking at my deck, I want the ruinator to work, any suggestions on what to replace or ways to make it more effective without trees and wurms?

Here is my version of the same deck, http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=380137. Take a look and see where I went differently, mines more of a beatdown than self mill, I keep the maniacs sideboarded just in case I go against mill. I like your deck though.

Even though its four color the main deck is only green and blue, if I never saw a swamp or a plain is only lose two cards from play. You're right bout me not having control though, I've got some pretty tough stall though. I get four chances with gnaw to the bone, spider spawning stalls nicely. But once kessig or splinterfright get out its usually game over. Your decks pretty cool. Odric is a nasty card.

Yeah, Ive played it against blue/ white control, cookie cutter tokens, and mill. It works pretty awesomely against them. You have to sidebar the maniacs for mill though. Going to play it tonight to see it in a tournament.

Id throw some board sweeps like killing wave or day of judgement in, with blood artist board sweeps are a great win condition. Killing wave for zero and you can sac what you don't need to grab some life and do unblockable damage, or day of judgement when there are a lot on the field, with four blood artist and one other creature you do 20 damage in one turn.

Nvm on helvault, worldfire would exile it instead of destroy it. I should have read the card before writing a suggestion. Sorry
